Danger. Deception. A wold shattering skeleton key.

Amanda always had a soft spot for the bad boys in her romance novels, she never expected to fall for the villain, of course.

After a mysterious skeleton key transports Amanda into a land of dragons, battles and gorgeous heroes, the only thing she wants is to go home. Until she's rescued by the villain, and shares a kiss that makes her ache in ways she's only ever written about. Going back to the real world suddenly isn't so high on her priority list, especially when the handsome villain claims she is his mate.

Hargreave is out for revenge for his slain family when a strange woman falls from the sky, and without another thought, he drops everything to save her.

His enemies conspire against him, and it will take everything Hargreave has to rescue his woman from their clutches. When Amanda claims to be from another world, he doesn't know if he can believe her, because believing her will mean sending her back...

Adult Review

My ThoughtsMate of a Dragon Villain by Mandy Rosko is part of the Skeleton Key book series. I really love the set up of this series. It is a group of almost 30 authors, each one writing a book featuring a skeleton key that unlocks a secret world. But all of the books are vastly different. Different themes, different age groups and different sub genres. I just love that idea. So whether you like young adult, new adult or adult, you will be able to find a book for you. If you want to know more information about the series you can check out the website dedicated to the books.

Mate of a Dragon Villain is up there as one of my favorite of the books I have read so far in the Skeleton Key series. It might even be my very favorite one. Stick with me on this one. I know the title threw me for a loop before I read the summary. Then the summary grabbed me. Then I started reading the book and I realized it was even cooler than I originally thought! I was so hooked.

Amanda is a writer and she has an epic dragon series. And like any good series there is a hero, and a villain- Hargreave. When Amanda finds her skeleton key she is sucked right into the world she created in her story. And she finds Hargreave. I loved that she fell in love with the villain she created in her books, and she had no idea that she would. She didn’t write him as redeemable as he actually is. I loved when Amanda was in the world she created, and she was finding out that some things were very different than how she wrote them. It was such such a cool idea for me to read about. I want to read more books like this one! Hargreave is great. I think he is my favorite guy in the Skeleton Key series so far. I liked Amanda too, but Hargreave stole my heart. This one felt a lot like The Azure Kingdom by Michelle Dare. I think it is safe to say, I have a type of story that I enjoy. haha

I am absolutely thrilled to read more books by Mandy Rosko. I have said it before and I will say it again. I love that the Skeleton Key series is is introducing me to a lot of new authors that I have not previous read before. And I am finding some authors that I am really excited to read more from. I have found that I have been drawn to the longer stories in this series. Mate of a Dragon Villain is one that I would recommend to anyone. One of my favorites in the series so far!

Wow! I love thie idea of this book. I’ve read Jodi Piccoult’s books that have similar plot lines with characters in books coming into our world and vice versa and really enjoyed them.
