Sunday Post (2)

Sunday Post (2)

It’s Sunday Post time again! The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. Sunday post is a way to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.  This week has been crazy for me. I went to my first work conference and it was great. I met a ton of attorneys and corporate trust officers (from banks and financial institutions) all in the area of law that I want to go into, but it was a very long couple of days. A ton of new information to take in, so this week on the blog I had a lot of pre-scheduled posts for various blog tours and a lot of giveaways.   Books I got  for review:  I got an amazing surprise package of ARCs/books from Harper Teen in the mail this week and I only accepted 1 book for review, so I think I did pretty well this week 🙂 Starcrossed by Josephine… Read more »

{Recap+G!veaway}My First Author Signing with @RichelleMead!

{Recap+G!veaway}My First Author Signing with @RichelleMead!

I have been reading books my whole life and blogging for about a year and a half now, and I have a confession to make… Up until this week, I had never been to an author book signing! I live in Tallahassee for school and there are just no book signings there (that I know of). There are a good amount in South Florida but I am only down there for school breaks and summers. I’m planning on going to BEA next year and maybe mid winter ALA this year so I will get to meet lots of authors there hopefully but I’ve always wanted to go to a signing for a specific author and/or book. Well a few days ago I finally got my chance! Richelle Mead came down to Fort Lauderdale, which is about 45 minutes away from my parents house in South Florida but only about 2 minutes away from the law firm that I am working at this summer! How perfect is that?? I went over… Read more »
