Trend: Bind-ups

Trend: Bind-ups

I thought I would start doing discussion type posts in between some of the reviews. It has been taking me longer than usual to read for the past few weeks because all of my spare time has been devoted to studying for finals. Luckily I am almost done, and then it will be summer, which means way more reading time! Has anyone else seemed to notice that more and more series that have been around for a few years have started to put out bind-ups of the books in the series? I have been loving this! A bind- up is when two or three (and sometimes more!) books in a series are re-printed and bound together. The best part is you get it for the price of just one paperback book! I really like bind-ups for a few reasons: You get two or three books for the price of one! Such a deal!  I get to discover series that already have multiple books, for less. Sometimes they were series that… Read more »

Not only that, but first Percy will have to solve the mystery of a rare monster that Artemis was hunting when she disappeared — a monster rumored to be so powerful it could destroy Olympus forever.  ————————————————————- My Review:  This book started kind of slow for me. It’s Monday, What are you Reading? (3)

It’s Monday, What are you Reading? (3)

This is a weekly meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. This meme is where people talk about the books they have read last week, the books they are currently reading this week, and what they hope to read next up. I decided it would be fun to participate in this meme because I thought it would be a fun way to keep my TBR pile in order. Books I finished last week: City of Glass by Cassandra Clare (Hardcover) Heist Society by Ally Carter (Hardcover) Switched by Amanda Hocking (e-book) Books I am reading this week: The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan (paperback) The Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan (paperback) The Titan’s Curse by Rick Riordan (paperback) Books I will be reading next: The girl with the dragon tattoo by Stieg Larsson (hardcover)  A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray (paperback) The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting (Hardcover) I know that I switched the order of my books around, but the mood struck me to finally read… Read more »
