{Review} Coercion complete series by Chloe Cole @_ChristineBell

{Review} Coercion complete series by Chloe Cole @_ChristineBell

Coercion is a serial series that makes up books 1-3 in the Montana Dragons series by Chloe Cole, who is the alter ego to NY Times best selling author, Christine Bell. The Montana Drags series is a paranormal romance series that follows two different dragons. (Where do they live, I wonder? Could it be Montana??) Books 1-3 are Drake’s story and books 4-6 are Etienne’s story. I liked that this serial romance was split into two sub parts like that. I grabbed Coercion book 1 because it was free on amazon. (Still is! Grab it HERE) And when I finished reading that I immediately bought the complete Coercion set. (it was only 99 cents!! Such a deal!) Willa is a wolf shifter that was jilted by the Alpha in her pack. That whole story has an entire spin off series, in case you are interested. But You don’t need to read it to enjoy and understand this series. Willa’s parents leave the pack and are looking for allies to get… Read more »

{Review} When an Omega Snaps by @EveLanglais

{Review} When an Omega Snaps by @EveLanglais

When an Omega Snaps is the third book in the adult shifter series, called A Lion’s Pride. I have not read any of the other books in this series, but when I saw the premise for this one, I was just so darn excited for it that I knew I had to read it. From what I can tell each book is on the shorter side, and features a different member of this pride. I wanted to start with  Leo’s story because I loved the idea 1) of the pride omega. I had no idea, but omega’s are the peacemakers of the group. Leo is known for being calm and clear headed. I like that because it is such a contrast to how you typically hear shifters described in stories. I thought Eve did an awesome job at painting Leo out to be this levelheaded guy. And then I love the idea of such a calm force becoming jealous and a bit crazy. I think we all know by… Read more »

{Review} Goldilocks by Patria L. Dunn

{Review} Goldilocks by Patria L. Dunn

Wow, this book was really engaging. It is a retelling (kind of) of Goldilocks. But I found it to be more of an awesome shifter paranormal romance/action adventure book. Hannah is annoyed when her father uproots her from her New York city life to bring her to the middle of nowhere to live in some random house in the woods. To say it was a change for her would be an understatement. I think she adjusted magnificently. If I was thrown in the woods with no electronics working, I would be pretty annoyed. But she just picked up and started to practice her cross country running. And that is where the book really started to get interesting. In the woods Hannah eventually runs across giant wolves and bears. Her father was sent out to investigate a mine that was having a bunch of tunnels collapsing. And I just knew that somehow the wolves and/or bears were involved in it somehow. We learn pretty early on that Jake Bear is a… Read more »
