Well, day two of the read-a-thon is almost done and today was busier than expected too! When will I just get a free day to relax and read? I was only supposed to have one dentist appointment and a haircut today. Instead, my appointments got mixed up and I ended up spending over 4 hours in two different dentist offices and drove all over the place. Squeeze in packing time and book time got bumped to the back burner. I only got 1/2 of a book read! I’m going to read some more before bed but I wanted to get my summary post up before midnight, so whatever I read past 10:30 pm will just go onto my totals for tomorrow.

I know the feeling! I joined the read-a-thon knowing that I wouldn’t get much done… I’m an English instructor at a community college and classes started this week. Here’s hoping we both get a chance to have a lovely relaxing day of reading before the read-a-thon ends!

Wow you read really fast! In 1 1/2 hours i probably would have only gotten a portion of a book completed… geez!
