He’s hot. Like, stop breathing kind of hot with his killer body, vivid blue eyes, and constant five o’clock shadow.
Did I mention his body?
Watching Hollis Knightly, Olympic diving gold medalist, man-pony specialist—and cocky bastard—stand up on the diving platform in nothing but a small piece of Spandex? Yeah, I’m beguiled.
And easily seduced.
I want to keep things light but he won’t leave me alone. And hell, if he’s not wearing me thin.
What is supposed to be a simple summer fling with a very hot man, has now morphed into a f*cked-up mess of feelings, attachment, and dare I say it…love. But I don’t do relationships. And Hollis Knightly does.

Stroked Hard is the third book in the a new adult contemporary romance series, Stroked, by Meghan Quinn. I loved the first book, Stroked, a LOT,and then I read Stroked Long and that book LEVELED ME. I love Bodi so hard. It is without a doubt, the best book I have read in 2016. Hands down. And book two is still the best book I have read in 2016. Which brings me to why this review is hard for me to write. It is really hard to follow up a book that I love so so much with another book in the series featuring a different character that is not Bodi, I was destined to not love it as much. But Stroked Hard is still a really good read. It is just hard to follow up such a perfect book. Even so, I love the Stroked Series so much! Each of the books are excellent in their own regard. I think this is a series that everyone needs to read (especially book 2!).
Stroked Hard was an interesting read in one regard. I really disliked Hollis at the start f the book. I mean, really disliked. Which was strange for me because I fell so completely in love with Bodi, I wasn’t expecting to have such a strong negative opinion of Hollis. And maybe negative is too strong of a word, but he certainly made me wrinkle my nose in displeasure over how cocky and full of himself he was. There was one silver lining to Hollis, and that was his determination in his pursuit of Melony, even if he was more than a little cocky while doing it. Hollis did grow on me while the book went on. I really admired his view on relationships. (in fact, Melony annoyed me in that regard, because I hate when people put a blanket statement that they won’t ever do something because of a bad past experience. I thought she was way too harsh in her opinion of relationships and of men.) It was that very point that eventually won me over to Hollis’ side. And the fact that Meghan Quinn was able to make me strongly dislike Hollis and then make me change my mind about him, is what I loved about Stroked Hard
Bottom line: I love the Stroked series. It has everything that I look for in my romantic comedy books. It made me laugh out loud so many times, but it also made me cry. It made me feel. It made me fall in love. And Meghan Quinn’s writing is really a work of art. While it is no secret that book two, Stroked Long and Bodi are my favorite…ever, I also really enjoyed Stroked Hard. It was a really great book. The whole series is a hit. There are really great characters, who have out of this world chemistry and I love the Olympic theme. I think Meghan Quinn has a gold medal series here! (sorry, I couldn’t resist.)
