A grouchy mountaineer, a Hollywood starletAnd miles of untamed wilderness...What could possibly go wrong?

Former Hollywood darling River Lane's acting career is tanking fast. Determined to start fresh behind the camera, she agrees to film a documentary about the picturesque small town of Moose Springs, Alaska. The assignment should have been easy, but the quirky locals want nothing to do with River. Well, too bad: River's going to make this film and prove herself, no matter what it takes.

Or what (literal) mountain she has to climb.

Easton Lockett may be a gentle giant, but he knows a thing or two about survival. If he can keep everyone in line, he should be able to get River and her crew up and down Mount Veil in one piece. Turns out that's a big if. The wildlife's wilder than usual, the camera crew's determined to wander off a cliff, and the gorgeous actress is fearless. Falling for River only makes Easton's job tougher, but there's only so long he can hold out against her brilliant smile. When bad weather strikes, putting everyone at risk, it'll take all of Easton's skill to get them back home safely...and convince River she should stay in his arms for good.

NA Review My Thoughts

Enjoy the View is the third book in the adult contemporary romance series called Moose Springs, Alaska by Sarah Morgenthaler. Though this is the third book in the series, each of the books act as standalones, set in the same world. They each follow a different main couple, but there is character crossover throughout the series. Enjoy the View is the first book I picked up in the Moose Springs, Alaska series but I was so charmed by the town, the writing and characters that I immediately want to go back and read the first and the second books in the series.

In Enjoy The View we meet our main characters, River and Easton. River and her crew are filming a travel promo on the town of Moose Springs for the Alaska tourism board, and they are met with quite some resistance because no one in the town of Moose Springs wants tourists to come…can you say awkward. After a series of failed filming attempts and a series of run ins with town grump Easton, River and her Team decide to film climbing up a dangerous mountain to get some good wildlife and scenery shots. And it turns out their guide is none other than our leading man himself- Easton!

I thought River and Easton were pure magic together. I loved watching them butt heads and push each other out of their comfort zones. It was awesome to read because their chemistry sizzled and leap off the page. I couldn’t get enough of the two of them. Sarah Morgenthaler did such a fantastic job creating so many heat filled moments between the two of them. I can’t wait to read more from her because if her other couples have half the chemistry that River and Easton have, they are going to be great! If you are a fan of funny contemporary romances with hate to love, witty banter and plenty of heat and heart, Enjoy the View is a great book for you to check out. I loved this story and I can’t wait for more from this author.
