Hey Guys! I so wanted to read an review A whole New World for my tour stop today, but there was a mix up with my book, so I wasn’t able to read it yet. I know I don’t typically share excerpts with you here on Book Briefs, but because I am super excited about this book. (HELLO! It is Aladin!) About Liz Braswell

After the sort of introverted childhood you would expect from a writer, Liz earned a degree in Egyptology at Brown University and then promptly spent the next ten years producing video games. Finally she caved into fate and wrote Snow and Rx under the name Tracy Lynn, followed by The Nine Lives of Chloe King series under her real name, because by then the assassins hunting her were all dead. She also has short stories in Geektastic and Who Done It and a new series of reimagined fairy tales coming out, starting with A Whole New World—a retelling of Aladdin.

Firstly, stunning cover. Secondly, I will read any Disney retelling, especially ones about Aladdin as it is my favorite of the fairytales. Thanks for sharing.

I feel sorry for this book cause I don’t think a lot of people are giving it a proper chance. Once you get past the first 25% that is pretty much just like the movie almost word for word it changes to the twist which makes it different from the original movie. It’s not great, but I thought it was good.
