Volume 3 Summary:

A summer of f*ck buddies? Something to take the edge off? I was down.

But when Chloe shows up at my hotel door, wanting to rip my head off, rather than give me head—I cared. A lot. Too much, in fact.

This is turning into more. And I can’t do more.

Like the ink under my skin she’s becoming permanent. Enduring. Immovable.

Was I ready to let her go though?

Not a f*cking chance.

Volume 4 Summary:

The image was seared into my mind. Imprinted. Emblazoned. Etched.

Did I blame him for what I saw? Or myself, for allowing him the ability to cause the pain coursing through me?

Betrayal was a weapon that cut to the core—the ‘what ifs’ the infection that festered in the wound.

I’d thought we’d had roadblocks thrown in front of us before. Damn. Those would have seemed like mere speed bumps if I’d seen what was coming…

Little did I know that what was headed our way would prove to be the biggest test of all—putting impossible choices in front of us. None of which seemed to lead to a happy ending in which the two of us were together.

****This is the FINAL volume in Max & Chloe's story!****

*This installment is twice the length of the each of the first 3*

My Thoughts

This review is for volumes 3 and 4 of the Indiscretion series. I did my first review on the first two volumes and I thought that worked well. You can check out my review here.  This way I have some more to talk about. The first three volumes in this series are around 80 pages each, but volume 4 is twice as long, and I loved that. It felt more like a full length novel, because Elisabeth Grace does a fabulous job with story and character development. I found volumes 3 and 4 to have a little bit of a different tone than the first two volumes. I still really enjoyed them, and they still had the hot chemistry, but they were more serious. It was like the first half of this series was about them getting to know each other physically and the last half was about them getting to know each other on a more personal level. I really liked it!

Max and Chloe are put through some tests in the 3rd and 4th volume of the book. From business feuds, to some pretty scary stalker business and most seriously with illness. The ending of this series really tugged on my heartstrings. I was happy, I was sad, I was frustrated and I whooped for joy. You get it all. And the best part is that you get it all in Elisabeth Grace quality. I just love her writing. I will seriously read anything and everything she writes. You just know you are going to get a good book.

I wanted to shake Max once or twice in these final two volumes. I couldn’t believe him! But it was all part of their journey. If you are looking for a quick, hot and satisfying read that does not skimp on characterization, development and details, look no further than the Indiscretion series! This would be a great one for you. It is one that I will be revisiting in the future for sure. I am sad to say goodbye to Max and Chloe.
