Reid never expected to find love, friendship, or her mother in the kingdom of Axian. She also never expected to become a leader for her people. With the king threatening to overthrow the dukes and take complete control of the kingdom, Reid realizes she may be the only one in a position to stop him. With the ring her father gave her, the commanders of the army at her side, and a master schemer in league with her, Reid just might be able to pull off the greatest upset in Marsden history—all she has to do in step into the role she was born for.
To protect her kingdom, Reid must outsmart them all. Luckily, she’s spent the last eighteen year learning the art of manipulation, and she isn’t above putting those skills to the test.

Hidden Knights is a young adult fantasy book and is the third book of the Knights of the Realm series by author Jennifer Anne Davis. By now, you all know how much I love Jennifer Anne Davis. Her Reign of Secrets series is one of my favorite fantasy series, and then book one in this series, Realm of Knights blew everything out of the water. This is one of my favorite fantasy series ever. It has everything I love in fantasy, great twists and turns, a fascinating world structure, plenty of action and plenty of swoony romance. I am so sad that the series is now completed, but if you are new to the series, this is the perfect time to grab all three books and read them back to back to back. I loved the Knights of Realm series, and I think you will too.
Reid, our main character, is one kick butt woman. I love her so much! Reid, Ackley, Gordon and Dexter are all back and ready for action in Hidden Knights. This book picks up after the events of book two and we are right in the middle of a burgeoning war. The plot of Hidden Knights was non stop action. I honestly can’t even believe how much Jennifer Anne Davis squeezed into this book, and I loved every second of it. There are so many characters and layers to the story that this series was a joy to read. I love how detailed the characters, world and plot were.
If you know me, then you know a fantasy is great in my book, but a fantasy with a heavy romance element is top notch. And Jennifer Anne Davis does some of the best swoony romances. I love Dexter so much! I knew from the moment I met him that he was going to be a slow burn hero that I would fall in love with, and I was totally right. He is so perfect for Reid, and the romance that has been simmering for most of the series really picked up a notch in this book. (much to my delight)
If you are a fan of fantasy like I am, this series is a must read. As are all of Jennifer’s books. She is one of my favorite fantasy authors because she keeps me on my toes so much. In a way that few authors can, she has me flipping pages not only because the story is addictively good, but because I have no idea where it will go next. And that is so darn refreshing, I can’t even tell you how much I love her novels. She is in a class of her own when it comes to writing great fantasy. If you have never read a book by Jennifer Anne Davis, you are really missing out. Pick any of her series and start reading! I think Realm of Knights is a great book for new readers to fall in love with. You will become just as hooked as I am. Read this series now! You can thank me later. 🙂
