Unfortunately for the troll, he is being chased by a nefarious nobleman and an interrogating nun, who both need the magical creature for their own gain, as well as a fairy-in-training who has been assigned to protect him.
The boys and their new troll best friend escape and go on the run. Along the way they get shot at, kidnapped, buried, arrested, threatened, killed (temporarily), and discover that the strongest bond in the world is not the one forged by covalent electrons in adjacent atoms, but the one that exists between a pair of twins.
The Fowl Twins is just as much zany fun as the original Artemis Fowl series. I loved the original books when I growing up. I recently re-read them to get ready for the new spinoff series, and I have to say- I had a great time. The books are just as much fun as I remember. The Fowl Twins follows the adventures of Artemis Fowl’s twin brothers, Myles, and Beckett. Eoin Colfer delights readers with the same signature wit, humor and sass that I have come to expect and love from the Artemis Fowl series. I can’t wait to go on more adventures with Myles, and Beckett! I hope the Fowl Twins is just the first book in a long series of adventures.
The Fowl Twins is perfect for readers from upper Middle Grade, Young Adult readers and adult readers! If you love adventure stories with spunk and lots of Humor, The Fowl Twins is a must read series for you. This would be a great book for a family to listen to on Audio book during a long roadtrip!
