Live Your Best Lie by Jessie Weaver, is a young adult murder mystery thriller that completely captivated me. Live your Best Lie is a fascinating concept. It follows a popular social media influencer who is murdered after someone posted a death treat/warning on her social media account. We all know the world of social media is fake, and that is a major element in this story. Who can you trust? Who are your friends? What do people know about your life? This novel is super timely and it is told in multiple POVs interspersed with social media posts and flashbacks, which made me fly through the book. I was hooked until the very end, and I loved the twists and turns.
In Live Your Best Lie, we meet our main character Summer. To the outside world, Summer is living the dream. She goes to a super fancy boarding school, has the perfect boyfriend and all the best clothes, purses and shoes- she has millions of followers on social media and plenty of brand deals. But with that comes plenty of secrets, and hidden skeletons in her closet and in her group of friends. I enjoyed discovering everyone’s secrets and trying to piece together what was happening.
Overall, this was exactly what I want in a YA mystery/thriller. I loved this book and I think it is perfect for fans of The Ivies and One of Us is lying will love Live Your Best Lie.

I thoroughly enjoyed Live Your Best Lie!!! A mystery set in high school where the mean girls aren’t just ruling the school but ruling Instagram. Add to that twists and turns to keep you guessing right until the very end. A truly fun and engaging read! Highly recommend!
