{Review+Giveaway} The Perfectly Imperfect Match by @KendraHighley @entangledteen

{Review+Giveaway} The Perfectly Imperfect Match by @KendraHighley @entangledteen

The Perfectly Imperfect Match is the third book in the young adult contemporary romance series, called the Suttonville Senitels by Kendra C. Highley. I love that this series centers around the baseball team. It is a series formula that works so well with me, but before the Suttonville Sentiels I had only seen it done in the adult sports romance world, so I love that there is a young adult series that is doing something similar.  I read and LOVED The Bad Boy Bargain  and Swinging at Love, which I also thoroughly enjoyed.  This series is a welcome smash hit for me! And The Perfectly Imperfect Match is a great addition to the series. Just like all of the previous books in this series, The Perfectly Imperfect Match is chock full of cuteness. That is the best way to describe it. It is like a smile in a box. All of the books in this series are actually. Perfectly Imperfect Match is the story of Dylan and Luck. I liked this couple… Read more »

{Review} TALK BRITISH TO ME by @RobinBielman @EntangledPub

{Review} TALK BRITISH TO ME by @RobinBielman @EntangledPub

Talk British to Me is the first book in the Wherever you Go series by author Robin Bielman. I have really enjoyed a lot of Robin’s other books, so I was pretty set on reading this one when it came out. But then I read the summary for it and I was totally hooked. An American man that poses as a British dating guy to stay anonymous for his popular dating talk show. And a young lady who has a huge crush on said british talk show host, but meets the american version in real life and non-dating hijinks ensue. Umm, yes please! Talk British to Me is told in dual narrative between Teague and Mateo. I really liked both of the main characters a lot. We got to know them each really well and I loved the slow burn of their relationship. They are great friends first and foremost, even if Mateo wanted to date her pretty much from day one. Well, maybe date is not the right word…… Read more »

{ARC Review} FIGHTING FOR LOVE by Kelly Elliott @author_kelly @ReadLoveswept

{ARC Review} FIGHTING FOR LOVE by Kelly Elliott @author_kelly @ReadLoveswept

Fighting for Love is the second book in the contemporary romance series, called Boston Love by Kelly Elliott. Each of the books can be read as standalones. Fighting For Love is my first book in the series, and I had no problem following and enjoying the story. If you like fun and relatively low drama romances, Fighting For Love is a great book for you to check out. I really liked this one, and I can’t wait to read more from Kelly Elliott. This was the perfect feel good read. Fighting For Love is the story of Rory and Finn. Finn is a firefighter and Rory is a law school graduate hoping to make her way as a new lawyer. (so it was really easy for me to put myself in her shoes…I wonder why. And also, does that mean I get to keep Finn for myself?? Please say yes Kelly!) Finn and Rory and such a great match, and  what I loved most about them was how genuine they… Read more »

{Review+Giveaway} Swinging At Love by @KendraHighley @entangledteen

Swinging at Love is the second book in the young adult contemporary romance series, called the Suttonville Senitels by Kendra C. Highley. I was so excited when I found out about this book. Seriously. I read and LOVED The Bad Boy Bargain and I thought it was just going to be a standalone, so when I found out it was going to be a series centering around a baseball team. I thoroughly enjoyed Swinging at Love. Just as much as The Bad Boy Bargain. This series is a welcome smash hit for me! Lately I have been finding myself gravitating more towards New Adult for my contemporary romances, and young adult for my fantasies. Oftentimes I am finding young adult contemporaries just a bit too immature in the characters. But the big exception to this seems to be the Entangled Crush line. I really enjoy their YA romances for the most part. (And I don’t think that just because a book is young adult that the characters get a free pass on… Read more »

{Review+Kindle Fire Giveaway} Off the Ice by @JulieCross1980 @EntangledTEEN

{Review+Kindle Fire Giveaway} Off the Ice by @JulieCross1980 @EntangledTEEN

Off the Ice is the first book in the young adult Juniper Falls series by Julie Cross. I have read a bunch of Julie’s books, and I love how diverse of an author she is. She can write all genres and moods of stories. I really enjoyed Off the Ice and I can’t wait to continue on in the series. It was a bit more drama filled than I was expecting. This is not a super light and fluffy young adult contemporary. This story has some grit to it. Off The Ice is the story of Claire and Tate. I liked both Claire and Tate but it took me some time to warm up to them. I didn’t instantly fall in love with them. In fact, the whole story takes some time to warm up. Off the Ice has a slower, more deliberate pace than some of Julie’s other stories. I could even see this story appealing to both young adult and new adult fans. It is upper young adult… Read more »

{Review+Giveaway} Weddings, Crushes, and Other Dramas by @Emily_Mc_Kay @EntangledTeen

{Review+Giveaway} Weddings, Crushes, and Other Dramas by @Emily_Mc_Kay @EntangledTeen

Weddings, Crushes, and Other Dramas is the sixth book in the Creative HeArts series, and the second, and final :(,  book in the Finn and Willa trilogy by Emily McKay. I have still not read the fourth or fifth book in the series,  but I have read books 1-3. I have said it before and I will say it again, I freakin love the way this series is done. Let me try and break it down for you, because it can be kind of confusing. The Creative HeArts series is all set at the same performing arts high school in Texas. There will be somewhere between 8-11 books in the series, and it will center around 4 different couples (at this time anyway). Each of the couples will get their own duology or trilogy, and each trilogy is written by a different author. But the books in the overall Creative HeArts series will rotate through each one of the three couples, so no two sequential books will be about the… Read more »

{Review+Giveaway} Ruthless by Gina Maxwell

{Review+Giveaway} Ruthless by Gina Maxwell

Ruthless is the second book in the playboys in love series by Gina Maxwell. The playboys in love series is an adult contemporary romance and each of the books can be read as standalones. I have not read any books by Gina but I had no problem following along in this one. I will say this, this book is very adult. Even more so than I was expecting. So know that when you go into it. I have read books on many of the various Entangled lines, but I have never read any from their “scorched” line. Now, I can say this book is as advertised…scorching hot. I ended up liking the story, but I didn’t fall head over heels in love with it. It was a good read though. The plotline of Ruthless was pretty unbelievable for me, but you just have to go with it and not think about it too much. The main character, Roman, is a very successful attorney and also a male stripper. Those two… Read more »

{Review+Giveaway} The Rule Maker by Jennifer Blackwood @Jen_Blackwood @EPEmbrace

{Review+Giveaway} The Rule Maker by Jennifer Blackwood @Jen_Blackwood @EPEmbrace

The Rule Maker is the second book in the New Adult (Or maybe adult- I consider this one a cross over that would appeal to readers of both age groups) in the Rule Breakers series by Jennifer Blackwood. I absolutely loved book one, The Rule Book. It reminded me of The Devil Wears Prada with a male boss, and a whole lot more romance. I really enjoyed it! So I was super excited for The Rule Maker. I really enjoyed The Rule Maker too. I think I liked The Rule Book just a tad more, but this was a great read and an awesome second book in the series. The Rule Maker is Zoey and Ryder’s story. We got to see each of them in the Rule Book, so while you can read this independently of the first book, this is a series that I think is great to read in order. Zoey is Lainey’s roommate from The Rule Book and Ryder is the the shirtless guy from the first… Read more »

{Review+Giveaway} Worth the Wait by @AJ_Pine @EntangledSelect

{Review+Giveaway} Worth the Wait by @AJ_Pine @EntangledSelect

Worth the Wait is the fourth book in the Kingston Ale House series by A.J. Pine. I have not read the first book in the series, but I did really enjoy book two- Six Month Rule, and book three,Three Simple Words . You can easily start off at any book you would like. They are very easy to follow and each book follows a different couple. I have read several books by this author, so I feel like I pretty much know what to expect going in. I know it is going to be a good romance, I know there are going to be flawed, complex characters that make for an interesting read, and I know that there is probably going to be drama thrown in. And I was right on all of the above for Worth the Wait, and for the whole series. Worth the Wait is Jeremy and Grace’s story.I really enjoyed Grace and Jeremy’s backstories, and I think because of these two characters, Worth the Wait is… Read more »
