I have been busy and tired and trying my hardest not to get sick. I want a vacation. haha But I have also been trying to cut down on my amount of review books. My calendar is looking pretty full for the summer. And I know that I still need to go back and add a bunch more review books to my schedule, so yea this week I took in less books than usual, and I was pretty pleased about that. I am also reviving an old project that I had where I provide authors and publishers with a list of book bloggers that are looking for book to review. I had some work functions that I needed to go to on Thursday and Friday so I had two 14 hour work days in a row. So I have really been looking forward to this weekend. Lots of relaxing and cleaning and errand running yesterday and today I am just relaxing. Reading and watching tv and trying to stretch the day out before the the work week starts up again. It was a beautiful ceremony and so much fun. I had a blast and she looked beautiful. I love her and her new husband. I have known them both since high school, so that was pretty special. (They have been dating for 10 years!) This week was a catch up week at work. Even if you take 2 days off, there is always plenty waiting for you when you get back. I went to a wine walk yesterday with my boyfriend and his parents. That was a lot of fun. You buy a book of tickets and a “wine passport” and you walk around the street festival and sample different wines. It was a very nice day. My grandpa is still not feeling the best but he is doing great work in Physical Therapy. Since I have been traveling a lot these past weeks, this week felt like catch up just to try and get back into my rhythm. But it was mine and my boyfriends 2 year anniversary so we went out to a murder mystery dinner. It was a lot of fun. My boyfriend was even picked to play a suspect. He was one of the three pigs. This week on the blog was like a celebration week for no particular reason! I have had so many awesome books and giveaways up on the blog, including a giveaway where you can win any book you want if you are lucky. 😉 But I also had 3 five star reviews and I was quoted 2 books! I have never had that many 5 star reviews in one week or been quoted in that many books. I am still a little starry eyed. My friend and I had a great time at Harry Potter world last weekend. I can never get over the magic in that place. The attention to detail that Universal Studios put into every little thing is incredible. Last weekend I went to Harry Potter world (at Universal Studios) with my sister and we explored Diagon Alley. It was amazing for those of you that have not been yet, and get a chance to go, you should. You will really love it. And if you do go, be sure to try the apple crumble ice cream from Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlor. It is incredible. And because you can never have too much Harry Potter or rides (and because I have an annual pass) my friend is coming to visit this weekend as well and we are hitting up the parks again.
