A woman's memory returns when she falls in love with the monster who took it from her.
Calli tattoos her skin to fill the holes in her memory, thanks to an accident that left her mind damaged and empty. But a nasty encounter with a fired employee leaves her in the arms of her unlikely savior: Nycholas, a predatory, serpentine Vesper on the run from his brutal master.
Nycholas' clandestine world holds the secrets to mankind's origin and survival... but he only wants one thing before his time is up: a few colorful nights with Calli, the fragile, tattooed, human woman he pursued and saved.
The more Calli learns about Nycholas, the more her own darkened memories return to her. Despite her haunted past, she loses herself to passion and desire with her immortal captor.
Now, Calli must overcome the demons of her past, or allow Nycholas to kiss her memories away and spare her the trauma of loving a doomed immortal. But each choice comes with dire consequences - some that endanger not only herself, but her family as well.
I’m excited to share with you my dream cast of characters for Gilded Destiny today! If you’re reading the book, I hope you keep these actors in mind as you get to know them and hear their voices as they tell this dark, romantic story. Check out pics of each actor/actress on my Pinterest page too. 🙂
Gilded Destiny Dream Cast
My ideal Nycholas would be either Charlie Hunnam or Chris Hemsworth. Because muscles and Thor and… yes, they’d be perfect LOL.
The actresses who would best play Calli would be Jennifer Lawrence or Emilia Clarke. Jennifer Lawrence because she’s got the sass and smart-assness of Calli, and Emilia Clarke for her ability to remain composed even when facing fearful situations.
I’d most love to have Joe Manganiello play the part of Levi, and if you follow me on Facebook you might know that I’m a little obsessed with him hehe. He’s tall, he’s Italian, and he knows how to look scary as HELL. And muscles. See the Pinterest page for plenty of JOE.
Sychar is a character who is near and dear to my heart, and I think he’d best be played by a no-name actor. His role in future stories (Jaded Touch, re-releasing in June and Phantom Nights, releasing in July) is absolutely HUGE.
But the best actor I can put to him is Chase Crawford. He walks with the perfect attitude, and have you seen What To Expect When You’re Expecting?! OHHHHH the KISSES. <3
And lastly, for the minor character of Festus, I’d love to have Ben Barnes play the part. He was brilliant in Dorian Gray, with the right attraction balance of creepy and beautiful.
I hope you enjoy the characters and picture these gorgeous, sexy people as you follow the story. It’s dark but steamy, so get ready for an emotional ride. And please do connect with me on Facebook and join my email newsletter… I always love to chat with readers!
