{Review+Giveaway} Ten Things you didn’t know about Sight by @Juliet_Madison @DeltaGirlsBook @DiversionBooks

Sight is the first book in the Delcarta Sister’s series. And I am not 100% sure the shape that the series is going to take, but this is how I hope it goes- There are 5 sisters. One set of twins and one set of triplets. Each one of them has premonitions featuring one of the five senses. This book focused on Savannah and and development of all of their gifts. Savannah has the gift of sight, but the cool thing is that if they all join hands, they can complete the vision through all of their senses. So I hope in future books that the sisters all stay together, and are all featured. Maybe with a different sister taking lead in each. Sight is a really, really cool concept. This book was a very short and quick read that kind of set the ground work for the situation I just described. It is a young adult paranormal series with a cute romance to boot. I will tell you a… Read more »

{ARC Review+Giveaway} Amber Smoke by Kristin Cast @KCastAuthor @DiversionBooks

{ARC Review+Giveaway} Amber Smoke by Kristin Cast @KCastAuthor @DiversionBooks

Amber Smoke is the first solo book by House of Night author, Kristin Cast. It is the start of a new young adult fantasy/mythology series, called the Escaped. I didn’t initially realize that this had to do with mythology when I read the description. It talked about souls escaping from their cages, but those cages are their prison in Tartarus. Once I started reading and realized this, I was super excited. Amber Smoke is a very fast paced and quick read. It set up the series pretty well, but not a whole ton actually happened in this book. And more questions were posed than answered. Still, I am more than intrigued enough to want to know what is going to happen next. Amber Smoke is told for multiple perspectives because the two main characters start out in different realms and don’t know each other. The furies had a son, Alek, that was to be the warrior of the underworld. To break a curse, he has to go above ground and… Read more »

{Review+Giveaway} Love On The Ledge by Zoraida Cordova @zlikeinzorro @DiversionBooks

{Review+Giveaway} Love On The Ledge by Zoraida Cordova @zlikeinzorro @DiversionBooks

Love on the Ledge is the second book in the new adult contemporary romance series, On the Verge. Each book is a standalone. When I joined the blog tour for Love on the Ledge, I didn’t realize that it was the second book in the series. So I was a little wary, because while I have read series out of order and even skipped books a couple of times (not on purpose!), I do enjoy reading series in order more. But I have to say that Love on the Ledge read fabulously as a standalone book. I was never lost, and everything was fully explained. I didn’t feel like I was being dropped into a world where the background was laid in another book. I can’t wait to read more by Zoraida Cordova. Love on the Ledge takes place in the weeks before a big family wedding. I loved how big of a family this was too. There were tons of cousins all around the same age. I was a… Read more »
