This week I have:
I MET MEG CABOT THIS WEEK! Let me repeat that- this week I got to meet Meg Cabot at her Wellington book signing!
How freakin’ cool is that?? In case you guys didn’t know, she is my all time favorite author. I have been reading her Young Adult and Adult books for years, and I am happy to say (and not surprised at all) that she is just as funny and awesome in real life as I thought she would be.
I found out about her book signing in the middle of the day at work when I was checking my emails working super hard, So naturally I had a mini freak out in the middle of my office. And then I called the library and reserved my spot and then I called my sister and had her get a bag of books ready. After rushing home to grab the books, I just made it to the signing in time.
Meg took lots of time to answer all of our questions and sign all of our books. She was promoting the new book in her Heather Wells mystery series, The Bride wore Size 12. (On a side note- if you have not read this series yet, you NEED to! It’s hilarious)
Meg generously signed all the books I brought and took a picture with me
Because I am so excited that I got to meet my bookish idol, I wanted to share the meg cabot love with you guys. So I am doing a giveaway Smile
I had her sign a poster of her books to giveaway to one of you. And I will also throw in lots of cool signed swag from other authors and some bookish goodies.

Michelle, look and see if you can add social share icons. On your dashboard go to layout. click on edit post and there should be a box to check to add twitter, facebook, google+ etc. So many times I want to share one of your posts and look for those buttons.

Meeting authors is WONDERFUL. Meg sounds as if she was very nice; I’m glad you had a great time.

I am also in awe of all of the reviews you pubbed last week. I am such a slacker. 🙁

    Have a great week. 🙂

  4. Kristilyn (Reading In Winter)

Yay for meeting Meg Cabot! I’ve been wanting to read one of her series but still haven’t gotten around to it. Still, it’s always great to meet one of your favourites!

Love Catching Jordan! That’s a good win!

    Have a good week!
