Stacking the Shelves is Hosted by Tynga’s Reviews
Hey guys! How have you been? I can’t believe April is already half way over. Time is just flying by. I haven’t done a weekly wrap up in almost 2 months because I have been really cutting back on review books so I just haven’t had much to share with you, and I have been super busy with moving over to wordpress.
So here is what I have gotten for review in the past month or so. Way less than I normally do, which is great! I have been trying to get that review pile wayyy down.
Books I got this week:
*Thank you so much to Entangled Teen, Muse it Up Publishing, Bermingham Books, Entangled Embrace, and all of the authors for these awesome books! *
The Warrior (Dante Walker #3) by Victoria Scott (eARC from Publisher)

Only with You (Jane Austen Academy #5) by Cecilia Gray (ecopy from Author)

This Week I have:
Been updating my review archives still. I am only on page 14 out of 60 of old posts so it is an ongoing process. If you want to know
more about my move from wordpress, you can check out this post.
My next step is tackling SEO. If anyone has any good tips or posts that they know of on SEO please send them my way.
I also just celebrated my three year blogoversary. I am super excited for this! I look forward to the next three years.
I have a huge giveaway going on right now. I will link to it below, check it out and please share it. I have lots of books that I want to give away 🙂

Happy blogoversary ! Your dogs are very cute, it’s a nice change because usually, when it comes to books, we see a lot of cats around 😉 Have a great week !
I love my little puppies
way more than cats. I mean, cats are ok too. They are such photo hams. hahaGreat haul! Bound looks really interesting, I am excited to read your review!
Missie @ A Flurry of Ponderings
Thanks Missy! I will let you know when I read bound 🙂
Oh, I didn’t realize Julie had a new book out. I liked her 1st YA book, Pretty Souls, but sadly she has moved away, in both of her author identities, from UF and into contemporary romance.
Congrats on your three year blog anniversary. *throws confetti* Enjoy and happy reading!
Oh I haven’t read Pretty Souls, but I do love UF. And thank you so much! I can’t believe how fast the three years have gone.
Looks like some great books that I haven’t heard of. 🙂

Let me know if you get a chance to check any of them out 🙂
Fall With Me looks really good. Gotta love New Adult! At least, it looks like a new adult book.
Updating review archives is the worst, I keep putting off updating my old reviews. Ah well.
Happy reading!
Yep, Fall with me is New Adult. I can’t wait to read it. I am slowly but surely updating all my old posts. If I go through a few pages of posts a day it is manageable.
Nice haul, lots of interesting reads this week. I hope you enjoy your books 🙂 My STS.
I loved your discussion post! Thanks for stopping by
Happy blogoversary! Nice discussion post on YA fantasy novels this week….
Thank you so much! I am hoping to have more discussion type posts on my blog. At least 1-2 a month.
Congratz on your move to WP *highfive* I remember we discussed that awhile back that you were thinking of making the leap! I’m so glad you did ! The blog design is wonderful! And isn’t WordPress so much more easier than Blogger is now?! 😀 Once you come to this side there’s no going back! 😀
I’ve been a lot more stricter with my review books this year too – I want more time for fun books and just random books I want to read at any time and not feel *obligated* to review them unless I want to. It’s really given me a ton of momentum this year! So rock on too!
Yea, creative whim had an awesome promotion for her new book host service so I just went for it! I have been loving it so much.
And the review books slow down has been really helpful for me too. I still have way too many books on my TBR, but I am down to 0-1 book a week instead of 6-7 books a week sometimes. It was too much. And now I feel better about reading whichever new releases, old releases or indies that I want.
I still need to read the 2nd book in the Dante Walker series.
Omg, Happy Blogoversary, Michelle!
I heart the dante walker series!
School of Death looks kinda cool, good luck tackling SEO, I use the plugin and try to make sure each post is green. Happy Blogoversary!
Thanks! I am going to check out the plugin 🙂
You’ve been a busy lady Michelle! I couldn’t imagine having to move everything, it must be so stressful, but good luck! I need to chip down my review pile too, but I’m getting there, slowly.. hopefully this month will chip it well! Hope you have a fantastic week! 😀
Thanks Amanda,
Moving posts over has been a long process, but I slowly but surely getting it done. 🙂
Love the look of Life Lived Twice. Enjoy your books, and thanks for visiting my blog.
Happy Anniversary-three years is quite an accomplishment!
Thank you so much! These three years have gone by so fast!
I am looking forward to your Fire & Flood review, I am publishing mine this week too. I loved it, it was so much fun. Are her Dante Walker books as much fun? they look sexier 😉
I’m glad you enjoyed it too! I just posted mine yesterday. I’m going to go check yours out 🙂
You added some great books this week and have some fun things coming up. Congrats on three years!!! I’ve been debating about switching to WordPress. It seems like almost everyone eventually switches. Thanks for stopping by!
I really am glad that I switched. There are a lot more options on wordpress, but the ultimate book blogger plugin makes it almost worth it alone. It is the most amazing thing ever!
Happy 3rd Blogoversary!! I hope the move is going well for you. You’ve got some great looking books in your haul, I hope you enjoy them and that you have a good week.
Thanks so much Becki 🙂
Moving to wordpress can be a bit stressful at first, but it’s really worth it in the end. I am still so happy I made the switch. Make sure to install some good security plugins. Your new site is looking great 🙂 and congrats on the 3 year blogoversary!
Yea, I’m still figuring out which plugins I need. That is on my to do list for the move, but I am super happy with how everything turned out 🙂
OMGOSH!!! You went and got even more beautiful!!! I lurve your WP look!!!
For SEO, I would do what Kim said, use the plug in, “WordPress SEO” (by Yoast) and make sure your little “light” (you’ll see what we’re talking about) is green. If you want some background, go to the Bloggiesta website and search for their SEO challenges. Or I Google’d some good articles, too 🙂
Happy 3 year bloggiversary, too!!!! HOLY COW!! I bow to your greatness!!! YAY!!!!
Awh thanks Kristin! You are too nice. I have installed the Yoast SEO plugin, and am working on green lighting all my posts. Hopefully I will be all done in a week or two 🙂
Wait… it’s almost May?!?!?! Oh my, I must have been living under a rock, XD. You have some great books this week – hope you enjoy them and have a great week! 🙂
You laugh, but I am continually surprised by how fast time is going. Sometimes I do look up and its the next month and I didn’t even realize. haha! Thanks for stopping by Sophia 🙂
I love the cover for Life Lived Twice! Nice haul! 🙂
I love that cover too. Thanks for stopping by 🙂
Happy Blogoversary! Congrats on cutting back on reviews. I’m still trying to do that.
Have a great week!
Thanks Yvonne, I am not doing as well as I should be but these books all look so tempting. haha
Happy Blogoversary, Michelle! And your new site looks great. Have a great reading week.
Thanks so much Jan!
I have no idea what to do about SEO…in fact I don’t even bother with it. I don’t think I need to until I host my own site. I wish you the best of luck with it!
I haven’t heard of most of your new books so I’m off to goodreads to check them out! I hope you have a lovely week
Yea, I wouldn’t even worry about SEO until you self host. And from what I have heard, most people don’t really understand it but there are plugins that can help so I am just relying on those at the moment. haha.
Thanks for stopping by 🙂
Great Haul!!! I’m so excited to read Warrior! I loved the Collector and Liberator!!! Also, I just started reading Fall With Me 🙂 Bound and Gilded Destiny look like great reads also! Have a great week!!!
I hope you love Fall with Me. I can’t wait to read it. ANd I am super excited to read warrior too.

So glad you signed up for the ARC challenge!!! I hope you get a lot read! I too need to tackle SEO. I am always trying to figure it out especially on blogger. Sucks sometimes.
I can’t wait for the ARC challenge to start. it is going to lots of fun 🙂
Bound looks interesting. 🙂 I hope you enjoy all your goodies! Happy reading and have a great week!
I can’t wait to read bound.
Thanks for stopping by 😉

I should start that series by Victoria Scott already! I keep hearing some amazing things about Dante 🙂 Also happy blogoversary! Our blogs are the same age 😉
Thanks for stopping by 🙂
Awh blog twins 🙂 You should read something by Victoria. I have read Fire and Flood and her dante walker series and I have loved them all.
Fall with me sounds good, and I hope you enjoy
Ooo, you have a few new to me books there. I’m going to have to go look into them and see what I find. 🙂 Thank you!
Congrats on three years! 😀
Thank you for stopping by and following. 🙂 I’m following you too!
Hope you have a great week and enjoy your new reads when you get to them. 🙂

Naomi @ Nomi’s Paranormal Palace
Thanks Naomi,
I hope you have a great week too!
Congrats on the Anniversary. I’m not familiar with most of your new books. I’ll have to check them out. Thanks for visiting!
Thanks for stopping by Annette 🙂
I love WordPress, but no way am I going back to update my old reviews. I am too lazy 🙂
I need to catch up on the Dante series. Enjoy your books!
No way can I do them all at once Nereyda, but I really want my review archives to be up to date so I am slowly going through them. A couple of pages of posts a day is doable for me. (most days. haha)
You got a really nice haul this week! Happy reading and blogoversary!
Thanks for stopping by 😀
Thanks El 😉
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I’m super jealous you got Bound by M.J Stevens. Because that book looks a-freakin-mazing!! I’m adding it to my tbr now! 🙂
Whitney@Shooting Stars Reviews

Congrats on your move to WordPress, Michelle! I know it’s a lot of work, but I’m pretty sure you’ll be really happy once you have everything lined up the way you want it to be.
Also congratulations on your three year blogoversary, that’s awesome 🙂 I’ll go check out your giveaway in a few.
You have some really nice-looking books in your haul, I hope you’ll enjoy them all.
Thanks so much! It is some work up front but in the long run it is going to be so much easier 🙂
I also have The Warrior! I need to read it soon – my tour post is coming up D:
Thanks for visiting my blog!
Alyssa @ The Eater of Books!
I can’t wait to read Warrior!
ooh Bound look really good! And I totally need to get started on reading about Dante. 😉 I hope you enjoy all your books and thanks for taking a look at my STS 😀
I am so jealous of The Warrior! I can’t wait to see how the trilogy ends!
So jealous that you have The Warrior! Great haul! Thanks for stopping by my STS post earlier.
I also have The Warrior for review and I can’t wait to read it! Happy bloggiversary!
I hope you enjoy your need books and thanks for stopping by 🙂
Oh my goodness! I’m working on a blog clean up myself with reviews and links and everything. It’s a slow process. I kept putting it off because I didn’t think I wanted to bother but I want to make sure old posts look good and everything is uniform. Enjoy all your new books!! 😀
I haven’t heard of many of these, so I’m interested in learning more about them. It looks like you have a well-rounded selection. Enjoy!! (also, what a pretty blog you have!)
Thank you! I like to try and circulate to all of the genres that I enjoy. Sometimes I get in a mood for reading one type though and I get little contemporary streaks or paranormal streaks going though. It all depends.
Thanks for stopping by!
Oh, Michelle, I’m SO glad to have found your blog! I see you have a LOT of activities going on all the time! You got some TERRIFIC books this week, and also have so many reviews! WOW. And then there’s your giveaway!! I can’t believe you’re actually giving so many books away!!! I don’t think I’d be able to part with my own treasures, even though I have tons and tons of books!!
Well, again, nice to meet you, and thanks for dropping by and commenting on my WOW this week!! : )
Thanks Maria!
I am super excited you found my blog too. Good luck on the giveaway! It was time to clean out my shelves, and what better way to celebrate my 3 three years on the blog than by sharing the book love!
I wish you all the best in your move to WordPress. I heard it’s a huge task especially if you’re moving to a self-hosted sites. I have zero knowledge about the technical aspects of blog design and all that LOL 🙂
Congrats on your 3rd Blogoversary! 🙂
Thanks Camille,
It is coming together, but there are still lots of things for me to go through. I am learning as I go 🙂
3 years Blogoversary – that is a great achievement! Enjoy your book haul.
