{ARC Review+Giveaway} All Played Out by @CoraCarmack @InkSlingerPR

Side Note: Ahh wordpress has been eating my posts lately. I write a post up and publish and it is there and then It reverts to a post that has almost nothing on it, and I have no way to get back the finished version of the post. I have had to re-write 4 reviews because of this and I have no idea why. And my re-writes are never as good as my originals. But here goes… So, I want to tell you guys a secret. Come closer. A little closer. And promise not to judge me too much. I have not read a book by Cora Carmack. I know. I know. And to make it even more shameful, I have the first Rusk University book sitting on my bookshelf. Judging me for not read it yet. And now that I have read All Played Out, I am kicking myself even more. Because Cora Carmack is a genius. An absolutely brilliant writer. I am not kidding, I think All Played… Read more »

{Review+Giveaway} Make it Last by @MeganErickson_ @WmMorrowBks

{Review+Giveaway} Make it Last by @MeganErickson_ @WmMorrowBks

Make it Last is the third book in the Bowler University series by Megan Erickson. Each book can be read as a standalone, but I really enjoyed reading them together. This is a great group of friends, and it helps to read their stories in order. Cam was always kind of the quiet pensive one in the group. He was never too rambunctious, he was never a womanizer. And because of that he faded a little into the background of his louder, more in your face friends. To me, that made him all the more mysterious. I was really excited to get to see his story. I love this series so much, so I was sure that Megan Erickson would make me fall in love with Cam. And she completely did with Make it Last. Make it Last is a second chance love story for Cam and his high school sweetheart, Tate. Tate is new to the series, and her and Cam did not end on good terms at all…. Read more »

{Review+Giveaway} Make it Right by @MeganErickson_ @WmMorrowBks

{Review+Giveaway} Make it Right by @MeganErickson_ @WmMorrowBks

Make it Right is the second book in the Bowler University series by Megan Erickson. Each book can be read as a standalone. Max made some mistakes in the first book, so it might actually be better for once if you read this one out of order. If you start with Make it Right, you won’t be colored on your opinion of Max. But I really enjoyed reading these in order because Max’s transformation was pretty impressive. Make it Right is a new adult contemporary romance and it is told in dual narrative between Max and Lea. We met Lea near the end of the first book, and as soon as she was introduced, I knew that I was going to love her as a main character. And I so did. She is a tough cookie, but a complete control freak. Control over everything made her feel safe after her accident as a kid. I loved the author’s note at the start of the book, about giving Max a second… Read more »

{Review} Make It Count by @MeganErickson_ @WmMorrowBks

Make it Count is a book that I have been meaning to read for a long time, but all of those review books fill up my time. But after seeing so many amazing reviews on this one, I was getting anxious to read it. And, when I saw a blog tour for the second book in the Bowler University Series, Make it Right- I had to sign up! So I got a copy of this book and put it on my blog calendar. And boy am I ever glad that I did! It deserves every single one of those glowing reviews! I LOVED Make it Count. It goes on not only my best books of 2014 list, but also on Best New Adult Contemporary Romances ever list. To start with, I loved the characters. Alec is one of the sweetest guys. I want him all to myself! I was a little nervous when the book started out with Kat dating Alec’s best friend and roommate Max. It made me nervous… Read more »
