{Review} Crazy Pucking Love by @CindiMadsen @EPEmbrace

Crazy Pucking Love is the third book in the Taking Shots series by Cindi Madsen. I read the first book in 2014, Getting Lucky Number Seven before I knew this was going to be a series and I loved it! It was a flirty, fun friends to something more trope. When I saw that Crazy Pucking Love was part of the same series as Getting Lucky Number Seven I was both super excited to go back to the series and bummed that I had somehow missed the second book in the series (which I need to read ASAP). Each book can be read as a standalone and the characters are very different so you will be completely fine reading them each alone, but I really loved the first book in the series, so I am going to encourage everyone to read that as well. But you don’t have to read it before Crazy Pucking Love. Crazy Pucking Love is a contemporary romance of friends with benefits to something more, between… Read more »

{ARC Review+Giveaway} Getting Lucky Number Seven by @CindiMadsen @EPEmbrace

Getting Lucky Number Seven is my favorite kind of new adult contemporary romance. I love the flirty nature of the friends to something more trope, I love the URST, I love nerdy humor, and I love a good college bucket list. So I knew this book was meant to be for me. And I loved it just as much as I was expecting to. It was such a fun read. I was so sure that I would love this book that I signed up for two blogs tours for it by accident. Opps. Sometimes I get a little overly excited for a book. But I was happy that I did for Getting Lucky Number Seven. I loved cute and adorable awkward science nerd Lyla. And I beyond loved her friendship with hot and smart hockey/science guy Beck. It was a winning formula for me. Lyla is an awesome girl, but she feels a little invisible to guys. When her roommate set her up on a group date at the start… Read more »

{Review} Priya In Heels @ByAyeshaPatel @EPEmbrace

Priya In Heels is a standalone title from Entangled Embrace’s new adult line. I have said it before, and I will say it again- I love that Entangled has multiple different lines of books because it allows the reader to really have a good idea of what they are getting when they choose a book. Priya In Heels is a great example of a well done new adult book. It was fresh, romantic, ton of feeling and emotion and it took the readers on one heck of a journey. Holy cow, the author is not afraid to torment her characters a bit, or a lot. She puts them through the ringer. Priya is indian and I loved how culture filled both her and her family and the book were. I feel like I got a lesson on Indian culture and the way it meshes, or doesn’t mesh in some cases, with american culture. Old school v. New school. Priya never wants to disappoint her parents. I loved how close she… Read more »

{Review} Fall with Me by Julie Particka

{Review} Fall with Me by Julie Particka

Fall with Me was an enjoyable read. It is a fairly short book, at around 200 pages so you can easily read it in one sitting. There were many cute scenes. I loved the dates that Jenna and Sutton went on. The paint-balling date was great. I loved the dynamic between the two of them. Even when they were “pretending” for the sake of their revenge it seemed so real to me. I felt so bad for Jenna. I can’t imagine having a friend or a boyfriend that would do that to me.For me, the whole story was about the romance between Jenna and Sutton. To be honest, I didn’t care much about jerk ex-bf or jerk bff. Anyone that would treat me that way is not cool in my book. So I was fine with whatever revenge they wanted to get. And watching them fall for each other along the way was just icing on the cake. I will admit that I did see the Lacey thing coming a… Read more »
