{Review} Fly With Me by @ChanelCleeton @BerkleyRomance

{Review} Fly With Me by @ChanelCleeton @BerkleyRomance

Fly With Me is the first book in the new adult contemporary romance series, called Wild Aces, by Chanel Cleeton. Fly With Me was my first experience with a Chanel Cleeton book, and I was super excited to read it for many reasons. Chanel is a fellow law school survivor, I have a few of her books on my TBR because they all sound so good, and I was really in the mood for a swoony romance, and I have heard she is the go to author for that. So I grabbed Fly With Me and dug right in. Flash forward to three hours later and I am so engrossed in Noah and Jordan’s story. I finished this book and had no idea how much time had passed. I went into my own little world and didn’t resurface until I had no more pages to turn. (and if I didn’t have a pesky job getting in the way, I would have immediately grabbed book 2!) Fly with Me was such a satisfying… Read more »

{Release Day Review+Giveaway} #ROOKIEMOVE by @SarinaBowen @BerkleyRomance

{Release Day Review+Giveaway} #ROOKIEMOVE by @SarinaBowen @BerkleyRomance

“Come right this way,” Georgia heard her coworker and roommate Becca say, the clomp of her Dr. Martens echoing through the grand old passageway. “Nate is excited to meet you.” Becca was the owner’s assistant, and Georgia lingered half a second to wave her down and offer her a donut, too. But Becca didn’t happen to look in Georgia’s direction as she led a tall man down the corridor. Something about his gait snagged Georgia’s subconscious. So she took a second look. And that’s when her heart took off like a manic bunny rabbit. Because she knew that man. She knew the chiseled shape of his masculine jaw, and the length of his coal-black eyelashes. Oh my God. Omigod, omigod, omigod. “How was your flight?” Becca asked him, oblivious to the fact that Georgia was spying. “Not too bad. I got in late last night.” The sound of his voice fluttered right inside Georgia’s chest. It was the same smoky sweet timbre that used to whisper into her ear while… Read more »

{ARC Review} Ain’t She Sweet by @MarieForce @BerkleyRomance

{ARC Review} Ain’t She Sweet by @MarieForce @BerkleyRomance

Ain’t She Sweet  is the 6th book in adult contemporary romance series, called the Green Mountain series by Marie Force. While, I have not read any of the previous books in the series, I now have to go back and get my hands on every single one of the first five because this is exactly the kind of series I have been loving lately. The Green Mountain series is about a big family with a ton of siblings. Throw in a meddling father and grandfather who like to do some covert match-making, and you have a great time. I love big family books where each of the installments is focused on a different family member. Aint’ She Sweet is the story of Charley (she’s the family member) and Tyler. Tyler has had a crush on Charley for forever, and she is constantly shooting him down. But Tyler is crazy persistent and he never gives up. I actually really admired that about him, because I sure as heck wouldn’t keep going… Read more »

{Review} Mine by HelenKay Dimon @helenkaydimon @BerkleyRomance

{Review} Mine by HelenKay Dimon @helenkaydimon @BerkleyRomance

Mine is the third book in the Holton Woods series by HelenKay Dimon. I have not read books 1 or 2 in the series, nor had I even heard of the series before reading Mine. I had no problem keeping up with the story or the characters, so I can confidently say that each book stands on its’ own. CIA and Military is a trope that I don’t venture into very often, but for the right book and the right plot line I am happy to try it. And there was just something about Mine that spoke to me. It is a really engaging read and a fantastic romance. I loved the clash and mixture of two dominant personalities. Natalie and Gabe have incredible chemistry. Natalie is ex CIA and people want her dead. Lots of people. Gabe comes into the picture to keep Natalie safe, throw in lots of obstacles, off the charts chemistry, quick witted banter and really smart writing and you have the formula for a romance… Read more »
