{Review} The Soul Mate by @KendallRyan1

The Soul Mate is the fourth book in the roommates series by Kendall Ryan. The roommates series are each standalone contemporary romances. I loved book one, the Room Mate, and book two, The Play Mate. I liked the third book, The House Mate, but maybe not every bit as much as books 1 and 2. It was a pretty close call though. The Soul Mate fell somewhere in the same region as the third book. I love the characters, but the pregnancy plot is not always a hit with me. I will give it to Kendall Ryan, though, she took a really interesting take on the story and I really enjoyed where this one went. Overall, it was a feel good read and a great romance, just like all of Kendall’s stories. The Soul Mate is the story of Mason and Bren. They meet one night Mason fell a lot harder than Bren did. Bren scampers away and leaves Mason wanting more. But then a potential baby complication inserts itself… Read more »

{Review} The House Mate by @KendallRyan1

The House Mate is the third book in the roommates series by Kendall Ryan. The roommates series are each standalone contemporary romances. I loved book one, the Room Mate, and book two, The Play Mate. I liked the third book, but maybe not every bit as much as books 1 and 2. It was a pretty close call though. I’ll explain why, but overall this was still a really good read, and I can see people falling in love with this story the most! The House Mate is the story of Max and Addison. Max is a businessman and bachelor, until his ex from years ago shows up and drops off a baby girl with a note that it is his and she can’t take care of her anymore. Umm, what?? Does that kind of thing happen in real life? Max puts in an ad for a live in Nanny for his newfound baby Dylan (named after Bob Dylan) and he meets Addison. I’m sure you can see where this story is… Read more »

{Review} The Play Mate by @KendallRyan1

The Play Mate is the second book in the roommates series by Kendall Ryan. The roommates series are each standalone contemporary romances. I loved book one, the Room Mate, and this book was every bit as good. Kendall Ryan just knows how to write romance gold. I always know that I am going to love her books. She has become an auto buy author for me. She is a genius as combining humor, sass, URST and romance, which are my favorite things in a contemporary romance. The Play Mate is the story of Evie and Smith. Evie is a woman that knows what she wants and I loved that she was not afraid to go after it. Sure, I wouldn’t have had the balls to go after it quite the same way she did but I do give her major props. Smith is her older brother’s best friend, and her soon to be business partner. Can you see where this is going? And if you know me at all, you… Read more »

{Review} The Room Mate by @KendallRyan1

The Room Mate was originally slated as being a standalone contemporary romance by Kendall Ryan, but now she is going to make it into a series. I am so excited that this is now the first book in the new adult romance series, called Roommates. I loved The Room Mate, and it really shouldn’t be any surprise why. First, Kendall Ryan writes kick ass romances. Second, I love the whole brother/sister’s best friend trope. And third, I think the whole roommate trope is my favorite ever.  So when you combine all three, well, you have a match made in new adult heaven for me. And now I get to see more and more rommmate stories from Kendall. YES PLEASE!! There is just something about forced proximity in the roommates trope that adds a whole other layer to a romance. A layer that I can’t get enough of. The Room Mate is the story of Cannon and Paige. I loved Paige, but I loved Cannon. I mean, what is not to… Read more »

{Review} The Fix Up by @KendallRyan1

{Review} The Fix Up by @KendallRyan1

The Fix Up is a standalone contemporary romance by Kendall Ryan. Even though this book works as a complete standalone it is a spin off novel of Kendall’s Hitched trilogy. It takes place in the same universe and the characters are friends of the main couple from Hitched, Olivia and Noah. Trust me, when I say you don’t need to read Hitched to enjoy The Fix Up. However; hitched is a great trilogy on its’ own and I would definitely recommend that you read it.The Fix Up is a really great read. I think I still enjoyed Hitched a little bit more, but this comes in as a close second. The Fix Up follows along in the same vein as Hitched, but in this case the main guy is British. He has recently come into a rather large inheritance (we are talking $50 million large) but there is a hitch (he-he) in order to receive the inheritance, he must be married. (again, let’s put aside the actually legality of this,… Read more »

{Review} Hitched: Volume Three by @KendallRyan1 @EverAfterRom

I have loved the Imperfect Love trilogy by Kendall Ryan from start to finish. It is the perfect summer series, and in fact it is one of my favorites of the year! It is a fun, flirty and more than a little sexy read. Noah and Olivia are the kind of couple that you just know in your heart of hearts are meant for each other. Now that is not to say that they are great towards each other. They aren’t, and they have so many road blocks, I am sure they will have some whiplash and neck injuries from all of this up and down they are going through. But it is all worth it in the end. Hitched Volume three picks up shortly after Hitched Volume one leaves off, which is to say it starts off in a cluster shank. Volume two left off at an awful spot, so I was cringing just starting book three. I will say that I think volume three was my least favorite… Read more »

{Review} Hitched: Volume Two by @KendallRyan1 @EverAfterRom

I am so loving the Imperfect Love trilogy by Kendall Ryan. It is the perfect summer series, and in fact it is one of my favorites of the year! It is a fun, flirty and more than a little sexy read. Noah and Olivia are the kind of couple that you just know in your heart of hearts are meant for each other. They certainly don’t know it yet, but they have these moments, these sincere little moments, where I think deep down, they do know it. Hitched Volume two picks up shortly after Hitched Volume one leaves off. But volume two will rip your heart in half at the end, so it is a good thing that Kendall Ryan has the books releasing so close together because I am already biting my nails down to nothing waiting. (and I only have to wait a week or so!) I also just realized that I spent a half a of paragraph in my last review talking about how itchy I was… Read more »

{Review} Hitched: Volume One by @KendallRyan1 @EverAfterRom

Hitched is the first book in the new adult Imperfect Love trilogy by Kendall Ryan. I loved this book! It is a fun, flirty and more than a little sexy read. I think this sums it up perfectly, in fact. Except they don’t even start out as friends. They kind of hate each other. (at least, Olivia hates Noah.)  Hitched is a three volume trilogy, with each of the books set to release in rapid succession. And trust me, that is a good thing. Because you are not going to be able to get enough of Olivia and Noah. You are going to want the next book in your hands ASAP. I know I do! I am already itching to start volume two. I need it in my life right now. Everything about this story worked for me. I loved how cocky Noah is. And how standoffish Olivia is. They clearly have a big history with each other and they know each other really well, they just start out hating each other. I liked… Read more »
