{Review+Giveaway} Worth the Wait by @AJ_Pine @EntangledSelect

Worth the Wait is the fourth book in the Kingston Ale House series by A.J. Pine. I have not read the first book in the series, but I did really enjoy book two- Six Month Rule, and book three,Three Simple Words . You can easily start off at any book you would like. They are very easy to follow and each book follows a different couple. I have read several books by this author, so I feel like I pretty much know what to expect going in. I know it is going to be a good romance, I know there are going to be flawed, complex characters that make for an interesting read, and I know that there is probably going to be drama thrown in. And I was right on all of the above for Worth the Wait, and for the whole series. Worth the Wait is Jeremy and Grace’s story.I really enjoyed Grace and Jeremy’s backstories, and I think because of these two characters, Worth the Wait is… Read more »

I love a book worm as a main character. Maybe it makes it… Read more »

{Review+Giveaway} Six Month Rule by @AJ_Pine @EntangledSelect

Six Month Rule is the second book in the Kingston Ale House series by A.J. Pine. I had no problem jumping into this book, even though I have not read the first book. (They each follow a different couple.) I have read several books by this author, so I feel like I pretty much know what to expect going in. I know it is going to be a good romance, I know there are going to be flawed, complex characters that make for an interesting read, and I know that there is probably going to be drama thrown in. And I was right on all of the above for the Six Month Rule. I have always found horoscopes to be very interesting, so I really liked that each of the chapters start out with the horoscope of one of the characters. Holly is a big believer in them, and I loved seeing her reactions to some of them. It helped me get to know her better. Holly has a very… Read more »

{Review} One Night by A.J. Pine @BerkleyRomance @AJ_Pine

One Night is the first in a new adult contemporary romance series called Only You. I am not sure if the second book is going to be about new characters or the same characters, so I can’t get into too much of the series structure. One Night focused on Adam and Jess. The story was told entirely from Jess’ point of view. I would have liked to have gotten some glimpses into Adam’s head, but it was good because we really got to know Jess. And she was honestly the main catalyst for this story. Adam was dealing with drama and difficult things in his life but it didn’t immobilize him like it did Jess. One Night is the story of whether Jess can pick herself up and move on from what happened in her past. And for most of the book, we don’t even know what kind of past thing it was. It was just this big dark cloud hanging over her head, affecting her relationships with everyone. I… Read more »

{ARC Review} If Only by A.J. Pine

{ARC Review} If Only by A.J. Pine

If Only by A.J. Pine ebook, 342 pages Expected publication: March 24th 2014 by Entangled Publishing Genres: Contemporary, New Adult, Romance Source: eARC from Publisher Summary: Sometimes it takes crossing an ocean to figure out where you belong. It’s been two years since twenty-year-old Jordan had a boyfriend—which means it’s been forever since she, well, you know. But now she’s off to spend her junior year in Aberdeen, Scotland, the perfect place to stop waiting for Mr. Right and just enjoy Mr. Right Now. Sexy, sweet (and possible player) Griffin may be her perfect, no-strings-attached match. He’s fun, gorgeous, and makes her laugh. So why can’t she stop thinking about Noah who, minutes after being trapped together outside the train’s loo, kisses Jordan like she’s never been kissed before? Never mind his impossible blue eyes, his weathered, annotated copy of The Great Gatsby (total English-major porn)…oh, and his girlfriend. Jordan knows everything this year has an expiration date. Aberdeen is supposed to be about fun rather than waiting for life… Read more »
