Stacking the Shelves is Hosted by Tynga’s Reviews
I have decided to get back into weekly wrap ups, monthly wrap ups and a few discussion and meme posts. Right now I am thinking about top 10 tuesday and can’t wait wednesday, but I would love to hear from you what kinds of posts you love seeing on blogs. Please let me know in the comments below!
A week in the Life of Book Briefs:
This has been a super crazy year for me and it is only getting busier. Work is busier than ever, so my weeks are normally, wake up- work-come home late- go to sleep- repeat. But I love my job, so it’s all good. In addition to work, my sister and one of my friends are both getting married in early 2020 and I am in both of their weddings. Which means lots of planning help. And my husband and I are moving! My family bought some land, and we are going to be building a house (in a year or two). Until then, we are going to be moving into the current house on the property. I will be sure to keep you guys posted on the house progress if that is something of interest to you. (Let me know!)
This week had more than a few overwhelming moments of freak out, and lots of work, packing and planning for November events.
November Events:
2 Bachelorette Parties to plan and attend
1 Bridal Shower to plan and attend
1 Bridal shower to plan (for December)
1 Apartment to move (complete with library)
Thanksgiving
Number of freak outs ?????

sherry @ fundinmental
Thanks Sherry. Lots of fun times ahead, that is for sure 🙂
Wow, that is a crazy schedule ahead! (And I feel your pain on the daily grind. That’s basically my schedule right now, too. ^^) Best of luck with the schedule, the move, and the HOUSE!! That’s wonderful, and the HGTV nerd in me would love to hear how that progresses! Have lots of fun with all of it!
Thanks!! I hope all has been well with you. I wish I could tell you it gets less busy, but it hasn’t happened that way for me yet. haha
I will be sure to keep you posted on the house. I am super excited!
Wow! What a busy week! I hope you find time to enjoy some reading. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by Stringchronicity! Sounds like you have a lot on your plate with moving and wedding party prep. Remember to take a little time to put your feet up now and then. Self-care is important 🙂
Wow you do sound busy! Congrats on the land/ new house situation! I love the look of Find Me Their Bones.
It sounds like you have a very busy month ahead of you. I love the cover for Gravemaidens, so pretty.
Sounds like you have a lot happening, but all of it good!
The Book Worm Crush looks cute. Happy reading! 🙂
Damn, you have a full plate! Congrats on the land purchase! Nice list!
Wow, you are very busy! Good luck with everything. Have a great week!
Between work and wedding and moving… you have a lot in the works! Fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly. I hope you enjoy all your new books. I’ve seen some fantastic reviews for Sick Kids in Love.
That’s a hectic schedule. I moved this year and it is an ongoing process. It’s exciting you get to build a house. I’ve always kind of wanted to do that. The closest I’ve come is completely redoing 3 custom kitchens and now I’m in a house without a custom kitchen, maybe someday I would do that part.
I only read one of the Smartypants romances you did Code of Conduct. I was really excited for it but it somehow felt – smug? Like the characters were the best and they know it. It was fun and I enjoyed it. It did have the more of the original series characters than any other so maybe that is why it was weird to me. I hope it’s going well as it’s a cool concept.
Have a great week and happy reading! Thanks for visiting my blog.
Anne – Books of My Heart
Wow! You have a lot going on! But, all are such great things. Good luck with the move and the show plans. I liked The Love Playbook. The ending part really got to me. I love stuff like that, and I ADORED Sick Kids. SO good! I hope you enjoy all your new books.
You sure do have a lot going on! Make sure to get enough rest 🙂
Your November events sound amazing! Have fun!!! I have Sick Kids in Love, too! I’m currently reading it and I’m loving it!
Wow, you are totally super busy! Glad you have a job you love so it doesn’t bother you working late. If all jobs where like that. 🙂
You got some great looking books! Enjoy!
Sounds like a crazy busy November! Hope you have fun with it all.
Sick Kids In Love is getting a lot of love at the moment so I hope you enjoy it too!
I really do want to read Angel Mage at some point! It’s been on my list for ages now!
