{Top 10 of 2016} Best Book Covers

December 27, 2016 Uncategorized 18

I love this event. Years that I am really on top of my game, I plan this event out in advance. But this year work has been crazy busy and the holidays just snuck up on me. (Seriously I feel like time started flying by and oct/nov/dec are all a blur.)

So I missed the first day of this event, but I just had to join in. I love all of the ladies hosting, so be sure to check each of them out

This year the event is being hosted by  Jaime of Two Chicks on Books , Nancy of Tales of the Ravenous Reader,  Bridget of Dark Faerie Tales ,and Rachel of Fiktshun.

Today’s prompt is favorite covers. There were so many amazing covers of 2016 that I had a really hard time with this one, but here are some of my top covers of 2016. (most of these books are books I have read, but a couple extras slipped in that are still on my TBR list)

The title links to my review and the book cover links to amazon

  1. Heartless by Marissa Meyer

2. The Diabolic by S.J. Kincaid

3. The Shadow Queen by C.J. Redwine

 4. Passenger by Alexandra Bracken

5. Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard

6. Ever the Hunted by Erin Summerill

7. A Shadow Bright and Burning by Jessica Cluess

8. The Lost Codex by Heather Lyons

9. The Midnight Sea by Kat Ross

10. Painting Sky by Rita Branches

And a bonus 11

11. Thief of Lies by Brenda Drake

What are your favorite covers of 2016? Let me know in the comments!

thanks Megan. 🙂 I agree they are both so pretty. I have been on a mission to collect all of the heartless covers. I just have the ARC and white cover. I need the regular hardcover one

The Midnight Sea is a definite win for me 🙂 But all the covers you picked are awesome, and they look so pretty on the bookshelf 🙂

I think I’m a big coverlover…it’s sad, really. All those covers are gorgeous! Stealing Snow had a beautiful cover and it sucked me in…such a disappointment for me. Sometimes I just buy the ebooks bc of the pretty covers! (Only on sale, of course, or I would be broke!) I have The Midnight Sea and completely agree about The Lost Codex…haven’t known anyone but you to know of it!
