Summary(from Goodreads):
KATE WINTERS HAS WON IMMORTALITY.
BUT IF SHE WANTS A LIFE WITH HENRY IN THE UNDERWORLD, SHE’LL HAVE TO FIGHT FOR IT.
Becoming immortal wasn’t supposed to be the easy part. Though Kate is about to be crowned Queen of the Underworld, she’s as isolated as ever. And despite her growing love for Henry, ruler of the Underworld, he’s becoming ever more distant and secretive. Then, in the midst of Kate’s coronation, Henry is abducted by the only being powerful enough to kill him: the King of the Titans.
As the other gods prepare for a war that could end them all, it is up to Kate to save Henry from the depths of Tartarus. But in order to navigate the endless caverns of the Underworld, Kate must enlist the help of the one person who is the greatest threat to her future.
Henry’s first wife, Persephone.

I LOVED the Goddess Test so I was so freaking excited to read Goddess, Interrupted. And it lived up to all of its expectations. I love mythology so much and I actually just posted another YA mythology review this week for Meg Cabot’s Underworld. Even though both of these books deal with Lords of the Underworld, they are not really very similar at all. And I loved both of them.
I really like Kate and Henry. Sure, he is a little hard to read. Ok, make that super duper hard to read, but I just kept rooting for them. I did get a little frustrated at them a few times, but it was only because I liked them together so much that I wanted them to both pull their heads out of their respective butts and start treating the other one better.
Kate is really brave and I admired that most about her. She is not fearless, she has fears and insecurities but she learns to deal with them and she does what she has to do. She can be a little rash at times, but her heart is in the right place.
What I really like about this book is that the whole gang of gods and goddesses are present. They each have such distinct personalities and they personify their greek myth counterparts so well. Aimee did an amazing job with their characterizations.
Goddess Interrupted is very much like the first book, which was awesome for me. I loved the first book, and I loved the second one. If you had issue with the first book, you would probably have the same issues with this book, but if you are on the fence about the series I say read it. There are moments between Kate and Henry that will melt your heart! Seriously anyone who has read the book, please comment/email me/tweet me, because I want to talk with someone about it! This book just made me smile and I need to know what is going to happen next because the way this one ended left me hungry for more!

I loved this book too. I actually re-read the ending because I liked it so much. I was a little mift at Henry at times though. You summed it up though – he’s really hard to read – but that one time with P. OH! I was so mad at him! I can’t wait for the third book!
I really agree with your review, Michelle! It was more like a 4 star for me, but it did make me FEEL a lot, and I really enjoyed all the action, and the progression in Kate’s relationship with Henry…finally! Plus I liked how all the other characters were so involved!
Great review! I love stories centered around greek mythology, so I really need to get started on this series.

I love mythology! I really think I need to start this series! Great review!
I am glad to hear you loved this one. I read some not so positive reviews on the Goddess Test so I passed, but now the reviews for book two are so much better and everyone is loving the Goddess Interrupted Book with all the novellas. I guess I need to recomsider and get this series!
This is such a good book! I can’t wait for the third one to come out … I need some more Henry and Kate in my life!
Great review! 🙂

I really enjoyed Goddess Interrupted too! I really loved The Goddess Test so when I read the sequel, I’m glad that it was great too. Although I was frustrated with Henry and Kate throughout the book, I’m glad that their relationship was getting better and THE ENDING! It was absolutely unexpected to me and I am even more desperate for the third book!
Awesome review, Michelle! ♥ So glad you enjoyed it!
I have absolutely loved both of the books in this series, but I must say that was one whopper of a cliffhanger at the end of Interrupted. I mean, geez louise! It hurt me. I can’t wait for the final book to get here, so I can stop having minor crazies every time I see the first 2 books!
Oooh nice review! I enjoyed this one too, but the ending about killed me! Can’t wait for the next one to come out…next year! 😛
Once again, awesome review!
