The Marriage Contract is the first in a new contemporary romance series, called The O’Malleys by author Katee Robert. I have read one of Katee’s books in the past and really enjoyed the steamy romance, so I couldn’t wait to try out her new series. I enjoyed getting to know some of the O’Malleys, and this is a series that I will be keeping my eye on. This series follows the three powerful Boston families- the O’Malleys, the Hallorans, and the Sheridans. Politics is a main focus on the story in The O’Malleys book one- The Marriage Contract. And as you can guess, when politics are involved, things can get a little intense. And they certainly did in this book. But the intensity was paired really well with a kick ass romance, so no complaints here. The Marriage Contract focuses on a couple from two of the three families. Callie Sheridan and Teague O’Malley.
