The Prince’s Bride is the second book in the adult contemporary romance series, Modern Fairytales, by Diane Alberts. The books in this series are not related at all, from what I can tell, and can each be read as complete standalones. The Prince’s Bride felt like part second chance love, and part The Princess Diaries movie. (the second one where she has to get married.)  I really enjoyed this book. It is like a modern fairytale. The Prince’s Bride is told in dual narrative between Leo and Alicia. I liked the twist of the second chance love between these two. They really were teenage sweethearts, except she has no idea he was a prince then. They go their separate ways and don’t see each other again for another 10 years. It all seems like happenstance that they find one another again, but all of that is explained in the book. I really, really liked Leo. Alicia was a little bit of a block head.
