Published: November 22, 2012
Format: E-book
Genre: Urban Fantasy/Paranormal

An army of angels walk among us. They have kept us safe and ignorant, so far.Earthbound for centuries and ruled by the Elders, they have established hidden cities, a society and The Code: obey your Elders, kill all demons, eliminate Rogue-angels, protect the mortals, remain hidden. Their warriors are the ungifted earthborn angels armed with blades and the ‘borrowed magics’ of distilled angel-blood tattoos.Alyxandria is a young warrior with a fondness for customized knives and illegal night-races. If only she could overcome the taint of her parents who abandoned her to become Rogues. When Alyx saves Israel, a gifted mortal with a past, she is forbidden to see him again. But she can’t help herself, drawn to him through their Guardian-bond, an ancient and long-forgotten bond; if he dies, she dies.An encounter with a handsome Rogue leaves Alyx questioning all she has been taught to believe. Alyx begins to dig into the Elders’ secrets. Two thousand years of secrets that begin with the death of the Archangel Raphael. She is not prepared when she uncovers an Elder’s dark plan.Somewhere on earth is a key to unlock hell. Somewhere on earth are pieces of an amulet that controls Lucifer and his army. Somehow Israel is the link and now both sides are after him. Who can Alyx trust when Good and Evil is no longer clear? The war for earth begins.

Who is the real Alyx?
Amon:        Good Morning. My name is Amon and you’re listening to 4BHalo’s News Hour. No doubt you have been following the Alyxandria story as it unfolds. I have here with me today Xavier and Elysia, two of Alyxandria’s lightwarrior friends to shed some light on the question, ‘Who is the real Alyxandria?’ Welcome.
Elysia:        Oh my goodness I’m so excited to be here.
Xavier:        Hi.
Amon:        Let’s get straight into it. First, tell me about your relationship with Alyxandria.
Elysia:        oooooh, don’t ever let her hear you call her that. Call her Alyx.
Amon:        Okay, tell me about Alyx.
Elysia:        We’re in the same flock. Well, we were, I guess. The three of us, me, Xavier and Alyx. Alyx and I didn’t actually get along at first. She was quiet, kept to herself. But over time we came to be friends. Good friends.
Amon:        Would you say that she is hard to get to know? Keeps her secrets to herself?
Elysia:        You make it sound like a bad thing… She has it rough, you know. People won’t let her forget about her past. And that stuff with her parents wasn’t even her fault. But people still won’t let it go. So, of course she’s going to be hard to get to know.
Amon:        Did her disappearance come as a shock?
Elysia:        Absolutely!
Amon:        Xavier? You’re being awfully quiet. I heard you were the one that Alyx was with when she had her second vision. Tell me about that.
Xavier:        She was more concerned about his safety than her own. That’s why she flew off. That’s Alyx, always putting herself on the line for others. She didn’t mean to break protocol.
Amon:        Who is ‘he’?
Xavier:        I don’t know. She wouldn’t say anything more about it. By the time we got to the scene of the vision there was just a body.
Amon:        What are your thoughts about there being a cover-up by Symon and Alyx about what really happened at the scene of the second vision?
Xavier:        That’s crap. Just people talking crap. I hate—
Elysia:        (interrupting Xavier) What he means to say is that it’s not possible. Symon wouldn’t do that. He’s too ‘by the book’.
Amon:        But Alyx isn’t?
Elysia:        *long pause* Alyx does what she thinks is right.
Amon:        Do you know where Alyx has gone?
Elysia:        No.
Xavier:        Wherever she is, she has her reasons. She wouldn’t just run off like that… there has to be a reason…
