{Review} Shifting Fates: Uncaged by Nadia Simonenko & Aubrey Rose

Shifting Fates: Uncaged is the second book in the serial urban fantasy shifter romance. I enjoyed the second installment more than I did the first because the scene had already been set and the players were already laid out. So in this book, we just got to dive right into the good stuff. I really enjoyed this installment because so much of it focused on what I wanted more of in the first book- Bindi and Cage! Lots and lots of Bindi and Cage goodness. Cage really comes to some realizations about himself and about his feelings for Bindi. I didn’t expect him to realize what he felt so fast. After the last book, I thought that he would still be denying it to himself that he had some feelings for the girl. But luckily the next time they met up, he was so understanding and he didn’t shy away from their connection. Neither of them did. It was great to see. {Review} Shifting Fates by Aubrey Rose & Nadia Simonenko

Shifting Fates is a shifter Urban Fantasy written by Authors Aubrey Rose and Nadia Simonenko. I am such a huge fan of Nadia that I knew I just had to read this new series. The first two books are already out, and I think the third book is coming out soon. It is a really interesting concept. The story takes place in the future in the city where New York used to be. There was a war and some kind of disease they came from a bomb explosion, and it turned some people into shifters. They shift into all kinds of animals. Some of them turn into monsters, and because of that they are killed on sight pretty much. Bindi is a shifter and as such she has to live in hiding. She takes care of some orphaned kids and teenagers that were also turned into shifters. She steals extra rations from the city to get enough supplies and food for them to eat.
