Dark and Twisted Games is Book One in the Hearts of Faeylon series, a young adult paranormal series. It is a series that has different paranormal creatures and it will appeal to fans of Melissa Marr’s Wicked Lovely series. I really enjoyed Dark and Twisted Games. It reminded me how much I love this sub genre of paranormal’s. I want to read more! And the cliffhanger at the end is a humdinger! It even said “the end” and I about screamed until I looked on goodreads and saw that this was only the first book in the series. So don’t worry- there will be more! The main character Eden is a like a breath of fresh air. She is nothing like the popular girl or any kind of “typical” ya heroine. She is stubborn, doesn’t take crap from anyone, but is one of the most genuinely nice girls I have seen in a while. I loved the scene with her and her classmate in gym class.
