After finding out she is one of two people able to cross between faerie realms, Ashlyn is faced with trying to understand her abilities, along with navigating a new relationship with her boyfriend, Liam. As if being on a centuries old hit list and dealing with crazed pixies isn’t enough, her new abilities mean trouble for Liam. Knowing her new life puts everyone she loves in danger, Ashlyn must decide what’s most important in her life between friends, family, love, and ultimately, realms. Wow! Bridger was so great. New England Witch Chronicles  By Chelsea bellingeriPaperback, 356 pages Published June 29th 2011 by CreateSpace Age Group: YA Source: Author Buy this book: Paperback l Kindle Summary (from Goodreads) The Salem Witch Trials of 1692 were an embarrassing stain on America’s revered past. Innocent people were persecuted at the hands of a few over-zealous puritans. But what if there were real witches during those colonial hunts? What if there are witches in present day New England? That is what Alexandria Ramsey’s crazy grandmother believes. Grandma Claudia claims Alex descends from a long line of New England witches. Modern day witches in Hazel Cove, Massachusetts? Unlikely, but strange things are occurring in the weeks preceding Alex’s seventeenth birthday, which also coincides with her family’s annual Halloween party. Alex is haunted by bizarre reoccurring nightmares of a man chasing her through the Hazel Cove Cemetery. On a few occasions, when her emotions have spiraled out of control, inanimate objects have shattered around her. But that’s just a coincidence, right? Alex isn’t so sure, especially after a local girl, who supposedly… Read more »

Blog Roll

Hey guys!I’m finally getting around to creating a “blog roll” page for the blogs that I frequently go to. The page is located under my secondary menu under Blog Events. It’s titled Blog Roll. (go figure) Here is the link to it (but I warn you its a work in progress so it is a little messy right now): http://bookbriefs.blogspot.com/p/blog-roll.htmlHopefully, it will be finished by the end of this week. I don’t want to miss any blogs so if anyone wants to do a button swap, or just wants me to check out their blog to include- please leave a link to your blog in the comments! Also, can anyone help me out with something? I want all the blog buttons to line up nicely in rows but they are not cooperating at all. Does anyone know tips or tricks for getting my page to look neat?Thank you! 🙂
