{Review+Giveaway} Normal is the Watchword by Jasmine Tru

{Review+Giveaway} Normal is the Watchword by Jasmine Tru

Normal is the Watchword is the first book in a new series from Jasmine Tru called the Watchword series. Right off the bat I was drawn to the beautiful and vivid cover. The story started off pretty interesting. We are dropped into the life of Juniper, or Juni who is trying to complete her senior photography project to win a scholarship to college. Juni is out taking pictures for her project one day, and she witnesses as murder. Throw in a mysterious guy at school, with lots of secrets of his own and a kidnapped best friend and you have quite the exciting story on your hands. I enjoyed… Read more »

{Interview} Author Christine Fonseca

Today I have a fun interview with author of the Requiem series! Be sure to check back in to my blog, because my review of LACRIMOSA is coming up next! 🙂 Thank you so much for being here Christine! 1. What do you think is the hardest part of writing a series? For me it is getting that balance between making each book stand alone and being overly repetitive regarding backstory—such a hard balance to achieve. And yet, I really wanted this to be a series, not companion stories with overlapping characters. You guys will have to tell me if I have managed to achieve my goals when the next novel is released in the fall.3. Some of the first two books are pretty dark. Do you think it is easier to write happy characters or dark… Read more »
