{Review} Between Now and Never by Laura Johnston @lauralojohnston @lyricalpress

Between Now and Never is a standalone contemporary/realistic fiction romance story. I loved Laura Johnston’s first novel, Rewind to You and I really loved it. It was a super sweet and light romance. I am going to tell you up front that Between Now and Never has a very different feel to it than Rewind to You did. It is not as sugary sweet, certainly not as light. There is a lot going on in this story and it will take you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. I really loved the setting of Rewind to You. I have always wanted to visit Tybee Island in Georgia, and the book had the characters visiting all parts of the island and it made me want to go even more. Sienna doesn’t want to be back on Tybee island. She always used to come here with her father, and now he is gone. This book is a tough journey for Sienna. I really felt for her. And while I didn’t always like the choices she made when it came to how she dealt with the Kyle and Austin situation, it… Read more »
