My Top 5 Best Mondays by Jessica Brody In my latest book, A WEEK OF MONDAYS, I did something very evil. I forced my main character to relive the same horrible Monday over and over and over again. Everything that could possibly go wrong on this day does: she gets a red light picture ticket, she bombs her election speech and her school photo, she chokes during her softball try-outs, her parents are in some weird fight, AND to top it all off, her boyfriend breaks up with her! Yeah, as Mondays go, this one pretty much blows. And then she wakes up the next morning to find that is the exact same Monday. Yup, all of these awful things are happening all over again. But Ellie also soon discovers that although she’s trapped in the same Monday, she also has the power to change it.
