Armchair BEA: Introduction Post #ArmchairBookExpo

Posted May 30, 2017 by Michelle @ Book Briefs in Uncategorized / 15 Comments

Hi Guys! I had really, really hoped to go to BEA this year, but I wasn’t able to coordinate my work schedule with the other attorneys in the office to make it happen. So I will be sitting at my work desk this week, checking in on all the awesome BEA posts and pictures and living vicariously through the bloggers/authors and everyone else that gets to go! I can’t wait to see what awesomeness the event has in store for everyone!
But because I can’t make it to the main event, I decided this year would be an excellent year to participate in Armchair BEA!

Ooh, this looks fun. I am not doing BEA this year (sending the kid though). I hope I get to make a post when I get home tonight.

I was hoping to go to BEA when it returned to NYC, but it’s probably for the best that I’m not. (Unpaid internship, plus the law journal assignments won’t let up. :P) Ditto on the pizza and the summer plans! Actually, I just need to organize my shelves period. They’re kind of…not organized right now, haha.

  3. How inconsiderate of you colleagues? Hehe…I’m so teasing. 😀 I’m sorry your schedule didn’t permit it, but, what you do is very important so BEA will have to wait for you until another year. =) Also, If I want extra slices of pizza, I’ll know to sprinkle Twizzlers on it. Oh so evil of me…

  4. I’m a new visitor to your blog. I don’t read a lot of YA anymore, but I usually like to read a YA romance or two poolside in the summer, so I might poke around your blog for some recommendations. I’m also a (somewhat irregular) bookstagrammer @mrskatiefitz. Happy Armchair Book Expo!

The Alchemists of Loom sounds interesting. I can’t resist any book with alchemist in the title
