{Discussion+Giveaway} Book Blogger Reputation

In a world where metal and magic clash with deadly consequences, Amani finds herself becoming a myth in the making, legendary for her sharp-shooting skills, more gunpowder than girl. So, inspired by Amani’s legendary skills and growing reputation, I have been tasked with giving myself my own reputation in the Book Blogger world, highlighting skills, behaviors, designs, or habits that you would be famous for in the blogosphere.

Normally, reputations comes from other people, so I am going to share what I think I would be known for. (if I am even known at all?? haha) and then I want you guys to tell me what you think my reputation actually is. Or what you think yours would be. Or make your own post and link me to it! I think that would be a lot of fun.

The Blogger that reads ALL THE BOOKS!

AKA The Speed Reader

If I had to pull the most reoccurring comment that I get (other than “great review!”) it is “I have no idea how you read so many books” or some variation of that.

I read a lot of books. Last year I read 222 books and this year I am on track to read even more than that. Not to mention I read and review books from young adult, new adult, and adult, including traditionally published and self published books. So sometimes it does seem like I read everything. But there are so many more books that I want to read. I truly do want to read all the books!

But the other piece to this is that I read pretty fast. I can read a 300-400 page book in a couple of hours. Normally I average about 100 pages an hour. Sometimes more if I am really engrossed in the book. That means I can read a book a day. (more on the weekends!) If only my full time job and traveling for work and to see family/boyfriend/friends didn’t get in the way of my reading, I would be able to double my yearly reading goal. haha
