A few days ago I was pulling books from my shelves to giveaway for this giveaway and I was gravitating towards all the light and fluffy romances that are my go-to beach reads. When I told my boyfriend about the giveaway, he told me that he prefers fantasy books for the beach and some more dense books because he finds the ocean so relaxing that he can really dive in an concentrate on the story. Which got me thinking…
What kind of beach read do you prefer?
Do you enjoy light and fluffy romances? Or do you prefer something darker, or more dense? Does water and sand scream dystopian to you? I want to know!

It depends on my mood and the weather lol. If it is bright and sunny and warm, I would read a light fluffy read for a fun relaxing day. If it is cloudy and chilly or windy, I would read a denser, more emotional book.
