Hey guys! How has your week been?

I was at a bar leaders conference. I was chosen to join a leadership academy for my state bar organization and our first meeting was at the end of this week. It was really great. I think it is going to be a great opportunity and that I am going to learn a lot. I met a ton of great people and even got to see my parents again because it was in their neck of the woods (or beach I should say) but it was yet another weekend of traveling. Sigh. Oh well, I can rest later, right?

In other news, it was a big ole FAIL trying to get my website upgraded to the new Tweak Me v2 and new Ultimate Book Blogger plugin v3. No time this week. But I will do it eventually.

I also joined COYER scavenger hunt. I have not done one of their scavenger hunt type events yet, but I am so loving it. It is so much fun to look through their list and try and pick books that match them. You can find out more information about the event HERE. Join in on the fun!

I also had a pretty great week book wise, so I am super excited about that! Check it out.

  1. Oh, Siren’s Fury!! I totally forgot about that series! OOPS! Gonna have to check the library for that one 🙂

I think I’m sold on the COYER Scavenger Hunt – that does sound like fun! Thanks for the reminder!

    Have a great week!

  2. Congratulations on being selected for the leadership academy! That is a great learning and networking opportunity for you. You are off to a great start for COYER. I’ve only read 2 books for the scavenger hunt but this challenge is nice since it is for summer. We have a lot of time to get through our pile of books. You received a lot of great books and I’m curious about Shadowshaper. I’ve seen this on a couple of blogs so I hope you like it. Have a great week!

  3. Great haul this week. Nothing Left to Burn seems interesting. I really enjoyed Forever For a Year, though after reading it, I’m not sure it’s for everyone. I hope you’re on the side that enjoys it! Happy reading. 🙂

  4. What we Knew looks good. Congrats on being on the panel it does sound like a great opportunity. Updating wasn’t nearly as time consuming as I thought it would be..and the new features are cool.

  5. Yes to Shadowshaper! I really hope that’s a good one. I also have Mismatch, hope that’s good too. Have a great reading week!

  6. Ooooh Nothing Left to Burn looks SO good! I am currently in Netgalley Limbo for that one 😉 Sorry you have been having trouble trying to transfer things! It is a pain, but it is SOOOO worth it- I got to use the multi-book review thing for the first time today and it is SO AMAZING. Hope you get it all figured out soon, enjoy your books, and have a fabulous week!

  7. YAY for the leadership academy, Michelle! That’s great news. I hope it will continue to be useful and that you’ll learn lots from it in the future. And hopefully, you’ll have a quiet weekend at home very soon 🙂

Your new books look great, even if they are all new to me.

The COYER challenge is always a lot of fun, I’m glad you’ve joined us this time around.

  8. It looks like you got quite a few reads this week Michelle! I hope you enjoy them all, especially Miss Match because that one sounds great! 🙂
