Sometimes wrong can feel oh so right . . .

Jenna Lacombe needs complete control, whether it’s in the streets . . . or between the sheets. So when she sets out on a solo road trip to visit her family in New Orleans, she’s beyond annoyed that the infuriatingly sexy Jack Oliver wants to hitch a ride with her. Ever since they shared a wild night together last year, he’s been trying to strip away her defenses one by one. He claims he’s just coming along to keep her safe-but what’s not safe for her is prolonged exposure to the tattooed hottie.

Jack can’t get Jenna out from under his skin. She makes him feel alive again after his old life nearly destroyed him-and losing her is not an option. Now Jack’s troubles are catching up to him, and he’s forced to return to his hometown in Louisiana. But when his secrets put them both in harm’s way, Jenna will have to figure out how far she’s willing to let love in . . . and how much she already has.

NA Review My Thoughts

I’m not even going to kid you…this is going to be a gushing review. But I think it is warranted. Hear me out. I have now read all three of the books in the Finding Fate series, and they have all been AMAZING! This is what New Adult should be and I am not afraid to share my love for Chelsea Fine’s characters and writing. There is something so comforting in reading book after book by an author and loving each one. I can confidently say that I anticipate loving every single book by Ms. Fine.

Her characters are always well developed individuals and she doesn’t use a cookie cutter for them all. They all have distinct personalities, but they are all equally relate able and lovable. Right Kind of Wrong is the story of Pixie’s (from book 1) college roommate and best friend, Jenna. And her ex co-worker Jack. They hooked up one night almost a year ago and things haven’t been the same with them since. Jack clearly has feelings for Jenna and Jenna even knows it but she is beyond scared to try and fit Jack into her “life plan”. I love Jenna, but the more I heard about her “plan” the more I wanted to punch her. I mean, Jack was so wonderful and she was just being so stubborn. But he never gave up on her, and I love him even more for that.

I love how Chelsea Fine finds a way to work in the characters from the previous books. This book took place in an overlapping time period with the second book, and just after the events of the first book. I loved that because we got to sneak in and see Kayla and Darren again in the midst of their story. It was awesome for people that have read the whole series. It should be noted that Right Kind of Wrong can be read as a standalone, but I would urge everyone to read all of the books. They are so flippin’ awesome.

Right Kind of wrong felt a little darker and more dangerous than the first two books because of the things going on with Jack’s family. I just wanted to grab him and hug him and not let go so many times throughout the story. I admire him so much. And I admired Jenna for how she dealt with the whole thing. I mean, that had to be a lot to take in very quickly, but she was a champ. A very stubborn champ, but a champ nonetheless. The Finding Fate Series by Chelsea Fine is pure magic…in a contemporary romance way. Everyone needs to experience Chelsea’s beautiful brand of love. I dare you not to fall in love with her characters. I dare you.

About Chelsea Fine

Chelsea lives in Phoenix, Arizona, where she spends most of her time writing stories, painting murals, and avoiding housework at all costs. She’s ridiculously bad at doing dishes and claims to be allergic to laundry. Her obsessions include: superheroes, coffee, sleeping-in, and crazy socks. She lives with her husband and two children, who graciously tolerate her inability to resist teenage drama on TV and her complete lack of skill in the kitchen.

I really love this series and was sad that I couldn’t pick up this one. I just had too much already on my plate to take on another book. But after reading your review and seeing those 5 stars I am kicking myself for not doing it anyways!

I haven’t read anything by Fine in so long. I am happy to hear that this is NA done right because right now I am getting burned out on the genre it is so alike. I will have to try this one.

Well, I’m married now, but the traits that I’ve always looked for are, that they are kind and caring.
