This Week I have:

It’s been a rough week for me. My dog Harry (potter) went in for surgery to remove a tumor last week, and while it was successful and he is happy and well at home, we finally got the results back and he has a very aggressive lymphoma. He has been such a great dog, that this is very sad news for me. His vet says that he has anywhere from one month to two years left, so my family is giving him all kinds of extra attention and love right now. He’s doing fine at the moment and he is going to be on medicine, but we need to keep watching him for new tumors. I am just hoping that it is closer to the two year mark because and I not ready to say goodbye to him in a month.
Here are some pictures of Harry in all his cute glory! (and some of Ron because he is just a little attention hog lol)

Here they are in their christmas finest!
Ron is the red one and Harry is the black one.

And these are after his surgery last week. With his little purple cast. And he hates the cone of shame so much. Poor puppy. (although he is being treated like a king lol)

And I have two great giveaways coming up next week so be sure to stop by the blog

The cancer made his skim scaly on his nose and patchy, but he has gotten a shot and all of his hair has regrown back in. but it is white. So he is a dapple dog now
Leave me links to your Sunday posts/stacking the shelves in the comments and I will check them out 🙂

  1. Jessica @ a GREAT read

Nice haul! These are all new to me but I hope you enjoy them!

Awww! Poor Harry! I hope for your sake as well that he has two years. It’s always hard to say goodbye to a beloved pet. And I hope for Harry’s sake that the cone of shame isn’t a permanent fixture. At least he has a soft cone, when our dog had surgery and got his own cone of shame, it was a hard plastic and he too great joy–because I do believe he did it on purpose!–in whacking his head around and hitting our legs with the cone!

Hope all goes well with Harry and that you enjoy your new reads!

    Here’s my STS

    Have a GREAT day!

Sorry about your sweet Harry and hopefully he will have the longer amount of time. I know it is awful to have that kind of diagnosis and to lose a pet. Hugs to you all! You have a really good book haul.

  3. Emily @ Falling For YA

I still haven’t read Unremembered but now that Unforgotten will be coming out soon-ish I have to get on that! I also got The Truth About Alice this week, can’t wait to read it!

  4. A.J.

I got Unforgotten too! And I’ve been really curious about Being Jaime Baker. I hope you enjoy all the books you received this week. 🙂

  5. Peggy Farooqi

It is very hard when our pets are ill and facing the prospects of losing them, especially if you have to make ‘that’ decision one day. Stay strong, I’ve been there a few times. It hurts.

  6. Fireflywishes

The Truth About Alice is on my wish list, it sounds very intense!

I hope you love all your books!

Aww, really sorry to hear about Harry, I hope you get the two years with him – or longer, you know doctors they can be so pessimistic! <33
