Hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer
2013 is going to be the year that I get my TBR pile under control. FOR REAL. So my goal is taking in less review books than I am reading per month. (I thought about doing it per week but that was too much for me, because some weeks I read 1 book and some weeks I read 7.) So at the end of the each month I’m going to do a books read/books for review recap.
Note: *= unsolicited book
The Starboard Sea by Amber Dermont (finished copy from St. Martins Press*)
The Typewriter Girl by Alison Atlee (finished copy from Gallery Books*)
Focus (the Crescent Chronicles #2) by Alyssa Rose Ivy (eARC from Author)
Seeds of Discovery (Dusk Gate Chronicles #1) by Breeana Puttroff (ecopy for blog tour)
Roots of Insight (Dusk Gate Chronicles #2) by Breeana Puttroff (ecopy for blog tour)
Fractured Soul (Fractured Light #2) by Rachel McClellan (eARC from Author)
The Girl in the Wall by Daphne Benedis-Grab (Hardcover won from blog tour)
Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry (Hardcover won from giveaway)
Weekly Recap
This week on the blog I brought you:
{Review+Giveaway} Normalish by Margaret Lesh (4 Gavels)
{Review} Tidal by Emily Snow (4.5 Gavels)
{Review} Supernatural Freak by Lousia Klein (3 Gavels)
{Review} Just for Now by Rosalind James (4.5 gavels)
As you can see, lots of reviews on the blog this week and I liked all of them! I love it when that happens 🙂
This week I have been OBSESSED with:
Netflix
My awesome roommate (and best friend) got me 6 months of Netflix for my birthday in October. Well finals caught up with me and I didn’t have time to use it. I finally set up my account in December and I have been hooked ever since.
Psych
My sister told me to check out this show. I watched the first couple of episodes and liked it but didn’t love it. But by the end of the first season I was hooked. I love Sean and Gus together. They are such a funny duo!
My crock pot
I got this crock pot for christmas and I am so excited! I have been pinning crock pot recipes like crazy.
My first recipe was a beef stew pasta. It was so good!
If you have any good recipes please let me know

1. Pushing the Limits was an awesome book so I hope you enjoy it too!
2. I just got free Netflix too! It’s dangerous. I got hooked on The Vampire Diaries series so far. Lots of good stuff there.
3. Crockpots are awesome. I found so many good recipes on pinterest that I want to try. There’s one for shredded chicken tacos. You basically just throw chicken and taco mix and water in and just let it cook. (http://www.guiltyorguiltfree.com/crockpot-chicken-tacos/) YUM. Anyways. Have a great week and happy reading!
My STS/Sunday Post

I love my Crock Pot. My favorite recipe book for it is The Biggest Book of Slow Cooker Recipes from Better Homes and Gardens. Lots of good and easy stuff.

My crock pot is my best friend. Especially during the winter. We don’t have cable, because nobody really watched it enough, we have Netflix. I didn’t realize there was so many TV programs and movies out there. My Netflix addiction right now is 24. Nice haul… PLT was fantastic. Happy reading.
