Follow Friday- Blog Resolution #FF

January 4, 2013 follow friday 10

Welcome to 2013 everyone! I’ve decided to try and be more social in the new year so I am taking part in more Follow Friday and other meme’s that help you get to know my fellow bloggers a little better. And this weeks question is perfect for this topic!

Q. What New Years blogging or writing resolution have you placed yourself on?

I made a post that goes into detail about all of my blogging and reading resolutions this year. You can check it out HERE if you want.

But in short, I want to be more social commenting, tweeting and getting to know other bloggers. I also want to have more discussion posts and less cover reveals/promo posts.

I also am going to accept less review books so I can hopefully get my TBR pile under control and read some of my own older books.

What are your resolutions?? Leave me links in the comments below πŸ™‚

  1. Jessica@a GREAT read

I rarely accept reviews myself these days as well. Unless it’s from an author whose book I always want to read! That’s different since the book would be in my TBR pile anyway!

I think I tend to do a little too many memes–one a day!–and cover reveals, but I honestly can’t help myself! It takes time to read and in between all that I post whatever I come across that I find interesting!

    Here’s my Follow Friday

    Have a GREAT weekend!

That’s my goal this year too. I love discussion posts, but never really do them. I stopped accepting review books a few months ago and have been so much happier getting through all the books I want to read. It made blogging fun again.

These are all great goals. I love discussion posts and would love to do a few, right now my blog is heavy on reviews but I am hoping that in May or June I can add in at least a monthly topic. Best of luck!
