Welcome to my stop on the Fire Spirits tour! I have a really cool guest post and giveaway for you.
5 Facts: About the World of the Jinn
1. The Jinn Realm is called Mount Qaf and it’s a mountainous, seemingly never-ending region, where powerful emeralds with magical properties are mined from the landscape.
2. Azazil, the Sultan of the Jinn, rules all. His sons, the Seven Kings of Jinn, each rule a region on Mount Qaf and are in charge of the destinies of Importants on particular days of the week.
3. There are many different kinds of Jinn, the most common and powerful being Marids, Ifrits, and Shaitans.
4. There are human-living Jinn who live in the mortal realm. These include lesser Jinn with middling abilities who prefer to live completely as human, Ginnaye Jinn – full-blooded Jinn who are guardians, The Guild Hunters – half-human, half-Jinn who hunt and tag dangerous Jinn, and Sorcerers – half-human, half-Jinn who have embraced the darker side of Jinn magic.
5. It’s pretty foggy on Mount Qaf.

I like all types of jinn/genies. It’s fun to read about the modern fairy tale types but it’s always interesting to read jinn-like creatures. 🙂

I love the world That Samantha created. The Fire Spirits is the only series I’ve read with Jinn/genies in it, and the best in my opinion. I just love it all.

I prefer the Jinn. The world of the Jinn holds so much more than that one genie in a bottle who’s only purpose is to fulfill the wishes of people until they wish him free. Jinn come in all kinds of sizes and it’s interesting to find out more about each of them.
