Thats right! I am doing BACK TO BACK READ-A-THONS!! Is that super ambitious or just flat out crazy? I think it just means more fun! I just finished the wrapping up the summer readathon and I managed to read 9 books! I am hoping to read 7/8 for this one.
The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, August 13th and runs through Sunday, August 19th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 5.0 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. -From the Bout of Books 5.0 team
- Read seven books
- Read two review books that are NOT for blog tours
- check in on twitter whenever I can
- Participate in at least two challenges (see the Official Schedule for all the challenges and chats)

it’s almosttime for war.
Juliette has escaped to Omega Point. It is a place for people like her—people with gifts—and it is also the headquarters of the rebel resistance.
She’s finally free from The Reestablishment, free from their plan to use her as a weapon, and free to love Adam. But Juliette will never be free from her lethal touch.
Or from Warner, who wants Juliette more than she ever thought possible.
In this exhilarating sequel to Shatter Me, Juliette has to make life-changing decisions between what she wants and what she thinks is right. Decisions that might involve choosing between her heart—and Adam’s life
My original goals were to read 7 books. I came super close. I read 6 books and 1/4. I read all of the books on my original list but I substituted Stitch by Samantha Durante for Cold Blood. I ended up reading over 2000 pages, plus I went White Water Rafting, went to Carowinds amusement park and rode rollercoasters all day long, and even visited the villiage in north carolina where district 12 from the hunger games was
filmed. I had a blast this week!

Hey there! I’m doing Summer Wraup-Up and Bout of Books, too! – I’m just…not quite as successful as you are. I think I’ve said it before but really – you are quite a crazy person 🙂 9 books? I mean, seriously, nine? How do you do that? Well, I hope you are just as successful this week as you’ve been last week. And have a ton of fun!
Good luck with your reading goals 😀
