Today marks the start of Bloggiesta! I’m so excited because I have so much stuff that needs to get done around the blog. So here is my updated to- do list. I know I won’t get all of it done, but I am going to try my best to make a good dent in it. Smile

comment on other blogs! (I have been trying to do this more. I was good for about a week and then life stuff got in the way, and commenting went out the window Sad smile )

write old reviews. ( I think I have about 7-10 books that are read and just sitting around waiting to be reviewed. Not. ok. )

get all outstanding giveaways wrapped up. (sadly with the craziness of life, I have not been on top of all of my giveaways. I love offering them for you guys but they are a lot of work and I have some books that need to be sent out from weeks ago (sorry winners!) and some more winners to announce and contact. )

figure out windows live writer

read up on SEO and start updating some old posts! (this one will take forever)

get back into the twitter world! (I have not been tweeting as much lately and it’s been making me so sad)

make review book priority list

plan out all my blogoversary posts for next week (there are going to be so many great giveaways! I can’t wait!)

schedule some reviews that are already written

go through all of my blog emails (these things really start to pile up)

Meet some new bloggers!! (this is always a goal of mine)

so what are your goals for the weekend? (Blog, reading or otherwise?)

  1. Great goals, mine are similar. I completed the first challenge and spruced up my sidebar. Now I am trying to create a like button for my post..LOL

  2. Great list! I’m also behind on my reviews … that’s on my list for the weekend — as is meeting new bloggers, and commenting on other blogs. I’m usually pretty good at commenting, but I definitely need to do more of it. 🙂

    Ole!

  3. I didn’t join Bloggiesta since…well, I know I will go crazy if I have a do list in front of me, haunting me.
    I am lazy like that.
This weekend I will…panic about having no spring break anymore and I need to figure out how to do my projects for college.

  4. I agree. You have a great list. One of the things I have to work on for bloggiesta is my email responses/organization too. They really do pile up. And those not-reviewed but read books! From a distance it seems like a good thing to have review books in case you don’t feel like reading for a while but I’m finding that it’s much more exciting to write the review right after I’ve finished (and I don’t forget so much either!).

    Have fun!

  5. Great list. I need to go check out that SEO (Search Engine Optimization for @Dana) mini-challenge. I thought I was doing pretty good, but I’ll bet I’ll learn something!

  6. You have some good things on your list! Everyone seems to have some really good things actually! And the challenges are A-MAZING! I just realised I have Windows Live Writer on my computer and I didn’t know! This is something I plan to use from now on! Blogger editing can get very frustrating!!

    Yay for Bloggiesta!! 😀

  7. Your header/banner is totally awesome! And I love the color scheme of your blog. I hope Bloggiesta has been productive for you. I know I’ve been learning a lot (and squinting at the screen a lot too).
