#WWReadathon Starting Line Post!

February 3, 2012 event, Read-A-Thon, update 7

WWReadathon
I am so excited for this readathon! I will be doing most of my updating/challenges in this post. My goal is to read 4 books. I am at work right now, on my lunch break, so I don’t have time to link all of them but I will quickly list the names here.
I want to finish Always Been Mine by Elizabeth Reyes, and then read:
  1. The Bronze and The Brimstone
  2. Pride’s Run
  3. Because of Low by Abbi Glines
  4. Fallenwood (1/4 way done)
Once I get through those I will come up with what else to read. πŸ™‚ Wish me luck!
Update- 2/4 11:30 pm
Books read– finished Always been Mine, and Because of Low. Started Fallenwood and the bronze and the brimstone.
Time Spent reading: 5.5 hours
Thoughts: I seem to have reading ADD today! I would pick up a book and get bored of it. I wanted to read but for some reason the books were not catching my interest. Plus my throat is killing me so I think I might be getting sick. Talking on twitter/looking at other challenges also took up a lot of my time πŸ™‚
Challenges participated in: [1]Kindle fever’s ice storm challenge, [2]Love of Books book cover challenge, and my [3]picture puzzle challenge.
Total books read: 2.2 books

Update #2/wrap up

Books read– finished Always been Mine, and Because of Low. Started Fallenwood and  finished the bronze and the brimstone.
Time Spent reading: 4.5 hours
Thoughts: I had homework and housekeeping stuff to do today, so I didnt get as much reading as I wanted to. But I did finish my 3rd book.
Challenges participated in: [1]Kindle fever’s ice storm challenge, [2]Love of Books book cover challenge, and my [3]picture puzzle challenge. [4] letters inside out song challenge [5] teaser challenge
Total books read: 3.4 books

I am going on a scavenger hunt today from 12-2, and then it is reading central until Once Upon a Time comes on TV. I also hope to get a review posted on today.

Random Tease Challenge!
My current read is The Bronze and the Brimstone by Lory S. Kaufman:

“‘Rotate around in a circle so I may scan the room for interlopers, Young Master,’ Pan whispered, then, ‘all’s clear.’ Pop!” (Page 59)
“Romero,  I still don’t like this idea,’ the Master said. ‘The little fish does not eat the big fish.’ (page 174)
“‘The Podesta has asked me to come here an say, without reservation, that he now trusts you totally and beyond any question. He therefore retracts any restriction on your request to marry the fair Guilietta.'” (page 260)

So how have you been doing with the read-a-thon?? Let me know in the comments.
