SiS read-a-thon update # 5

June 17, 2011 Read-A-Thon, update 9

I decided to put all my updates in one post, so you are not overwhelmed by the amount of posts on my blog. The newer updates will be on the top of the post and the oldest update will be on the bottom.

it’s time for today’s fifth update and last update & mini-challenge! For this mini-challenge I want you to create a sentence using at least three book titles. Details below.

Here’s my update and mini challenge answer!

Update:

  • Total Books Read:1
  • Total Pages Read:312
  • Books Read Since Last Update: 0
  • Pages Read since last update: 18
  • Total time read: 4.5 hour
  • What I’m currently reading: Tower of Parlen Min
  • How I’m currently feeling: In a really great mood now that I am finally in the swing of things!

Mini Challenge:
You need to create a complete sentence using ONLY book titles (no cheating!), and you need AT LEAST three. Include a picture if you can! Again, learning by example is the best, so here we go:

 Book Title Sentence:

The Cat in the Hat Abandoned Little Women Outside, In A Streetcar Named Desire.

Let me know what you think! This was fun!

It’s time for the fourth update & mini-challenge! For this mini-challenge I want you to create a puzzle image for a book.

Here’s my update and mini challenge answer!

So today has been more hectic than I hoped for. I had to go grocery shopping with my mom and then start packing to go home tomorrow.  So I had to take some breaks from reading. But now that I have settled in for the night I should be able to read un-interrupted.
Update: #4

  • Total Books Read: 1
  • Total Pages Read: 294
  • Books Read Since Last Update: 1
  • Pages Read since last update: 240
  • Total time read: 4 hours
  • How I’m currently feeling: Annoyed at interruptions, but excited to settle in for a nice long read.

Mini Challenge:
For this mini-challenge you need to create a puzzle that consists of about three images which describes a book. I’m big on learning by example, so here’s mine:

  S   M   L   XL

This was so much fun! I can’t wait to see some of the guesses!

Yep! That’s it! I’m so excited that someone tried it and got it. I probably took too long thinking of what book to use for this. Haha
